While marsala is this year’s pantone color, green naman is one of the two lucky colors for the Lunar New Year. Red has started to grow on me ever since I became a red head and green, well it will always be my favorite color. Ironically, I don’t own any green piece in my closet, save for some intimate apparel & swim suit. I guess now is a good time to slowly invest and inject green in my style no? To welcome the Chinese New Year, here’s a look that I currently love.
This controversial jumpsuit stirred a hornet’s nest for it being similar to a fighter’s uniform. On the contrary, it reminds me of pilots and how jumpsuits are for people who fly and glide up in the sky.
For a far, it looks more of gray than green no? Thankfully, this jumpsuit doesn’t emphasize my protruding lower abdomen. Anything that’s usually cut on the waist makes my puson pop. So it’s another reason why I love this piece. Ever since I got this during the VIP opening of H&M here in Manila, I’ve worn it a dozen times na.
I’m somekinda ready for 2015! Pantone color of the year, check! Lucky lunar year color, check! Lucky, come to meeeee!
To make it more feminine, add a huge bling- a statement necklace or perhaps a chunk of ring. To make it more polished & structured, close it all the way up to the collar, pair it with a sleek black pointed pumps, bun your hair and pile on some bracelets. Perhaps this option can pass as an outfit you can wear at the office.
Gong Xi Fa Cai everyone!
