One of the crucial things we moms face when it comes to our kids is dealing with situations related to their health and wellness. I’ve gone through all sorts of ways to make lil’ Ms. GJG take any contraption-like gadget to help her when she’s sick. The usual thermometers are a threat and neublizing the few first times were a challenge. Have you ever had the same experience with your kids when it comes to home care products? If you still are, fret not as HomeMed is here to bring us FUNctional pedriatic home care products.
Katherine, the founder and chief creative officer of HomeMed is the one responsible in curating the products of the brand. As a mom, she understands that sometimes, all it takes is FUN to make functional products more appealing to kids, thus she created HomeMed. HomeMed is a catalogue of pediatric home care products that puts FUN in functional with five categories (health, wellness, development, hygienic and rest) that focuses on the different ares of growth that complete the daily routine of a child.
HomeMed aims to ultimately help mommy and daddy go about their children’s daily routine, specialising in pediatric home care solutions, specifically respiratory care products. Healthcare products offered are those infused with fun and color to become warm and friendly whilst being very much functional and effective.
I’m so glad that Katherine acquainted me to HomeMed as I am giddy to learn such company exists and is responsible in helping parents be the best caretakers of their little ones. So allow me to introduce their products to you fathers and mothers, ninongs and ninangs, aunties and uncles. I know you’ll be as equally excited as I am with their offerings as their products are really fun and functional.
Nebulizer Masks Spotz & Ellie, P280 each.
We were first introduced to this cute nebulizer mask by our pedia, who gave my kids a Spike The Dog mask. They loved it and kept on arguing who would use it first. Now they’re more excited to nebulize using their Spotz & Ellie masks. Kyooot no? It veers the kid’s attention away from the noisy motor of the nebilzer as he/she enjoys the company of Spotz or Ellie.
Mr. Cat The Funny Nebulizer Kit, P500.
A mouth-piece attached on a patented no-spill medication cup nebulizer kit. It comes with a set of stickers that you can put on Mr. Cat’s face to make him even more funnier.
HomeMed has a line of nebulizer machines that even me (a kid a heart) wants.
Qutie Dog Super Mini Piston Nebulizer P3,800.
The mini pump is a brand new design for small portable nebulizer. The components of the pump are of the highest quality and manufactured by Rossmax Japan. Moreover, the pump is tailor-made which means that the pump’s characteristics and functionality can be set and adjusted to meet nebulizer specifications.
It’s so kyoooot you’d barely recognize it’s a nebulizer. It seems quieter than our big bad nebulizer but it works efficiently the same. If your kids no longer need to neublize this cute lil’ doggie can also serve as a room decor.
Cheetah Halo Sani-Cuff Hypoallergenic Hand Sanitizer Wristband, P560.
It’s automatic for my kids to spray a few spritz of hand sanitzer if they can’t access the lavatory to wash their hands. Most of the time, they would demand they do the spraying by themselves. When they do, it makes me worry for they may accidentally spray the sanitizer towards their face or to each other. The Halo Sani-Cuff would save the kids and the moms the trouble of spraying the sanitizer elsewhere as they can wear it and spray it directly to their hands. Love the simple ingenuity of this product and the best part? You can refill and put your preferred sanitizer. FTW!
PediaPets Talking Digital Thermometer, P690.
Aaaah temperature taking. It’s one of the things I need to do more than a few times to make sure it’s accurate. My kids hate waiting five minutes to check their temperature. They’re very impatient, they’d move and wiggle a lot, taking it longer than ever to get an accurate read. This cute PediaPets digital thermometer only takes 20-second readout with an (fever) alert of “ribit, ribit, ribit” once the reading is done making it super fun for kids. My kids now would even ask for “froggy” even if they don’t have any fever just so they can hear him ribit, ribit!
Allermates Allergy Allert Wrist Bands, P505 each. Allermates “I Have Food Allergies” Allergy Alert Lunch Bag, P1,250.
If your child has a particular allergy (egg, wheat/gluten, soy, sesame, peanut, shellfish, nuts, penicillin, vegan) then you must get this allergy alert wrist band. It’s the one thing that he needs to wear especially when he’s already studying to serve as a precautionary tool for his allergy. The lunch bag is also a good way of letting people know that your child has a particular diet and needs to avoid certain food than can trigger his allergies.
MediMates Asthma Alert Wrist Band, P505 and MediMates Asthma Inhaler Case, P1,020.
The cool tools my children need as both of them suffer from asthma attacks once in a while. The Asthma Alert Wrist Band can be used by my lil’ Ms. GJG and as well as lil’ Mr. GJG as it fits most kids aged 2 years old and up. The Asthma Inhaler case on the other hand keeps the inhaler clean and accessible. It can fit most inhalers and even have a space for a refill. You can easily attach it to your child’s bag all thanks to its hook.
Supreme Bubblicious Hoodie Backpack, P3,350 and Supreme Naturalist Cape Backpack P2,950.
My little super heroes wish to become a superhero finally came true with these Supreme backpacks. My lil’ Ms. GJG excitedly opened hers the moment she saw me taking photos of it. The hoodie backpack is perfect for her as we walk three blocks to her school and sometimes, a hoodie is just want she needs on rainy days where an umbrella isn’t an option. My lil’ Mr. GJG as well couldn’t hold his excitement as he started running around with his cape and mask, while his bag is filled with his things and toys.
The SuperME backpack comes in different styles suitable for each super hero’s character.
Lil Al E Gator Oral Care Plus, P1,900.
Aaah the battle of brushing teeth. While my lil’ GJGs don’t really have any issue brushing teeth, it’s those I’m-too-sleepy-I-don’t-want-to-brush-na moments that get me. No matter how much I try to tell them that it is a must to brush their teeth even if they’re sleepy, they still never get it. Until Lil Al E Gator showed them that brushing teeth can be fun.
Counting and identify the types of tooth, proper brushing & flossing are just some of things you can start teaching your child at an early age. Lil Al E Gator immediately caught the heart of my lil’ Mr. GJG as soon as he saw his teeth, he immediately asked me if he can brush them.
Somebody’s really determined to clean Lil’ Al E Gator’s teeth. Brush, brush, brush away!
Lella La Cocinella Complete Respiratory Care System, P4, 700.
A complete upper and lower respiratory airway therapy system!
Kid-friendly design gives this compressor nebulizer + nasal wash the shape of a ladybug that makes treatment with children more enjoyable and comfortable whilst usable by all family members, as it ensures optimum performance and efficacy. Suitable for frequent use at home, it fits a powerful compressor for fast medication delivery.
This lil’ lady bug is by far the cutest, complete and compact nebulizer we’ve ever tried. I wouldn’t mind lugging it around with us on our trips for it didn’t really occupy that much space.
Here’s my lil’ Ms. GJG nebulizing during our staycation at Seda in Nuvali. It even comes with a story book about a lady bug who helps children with difficulty in breathing. Kyoooot!
She said she loves the lady bug nebulizer because it’s the same as her trolley bag and it isn’t as noisy as our bulky one at home.
Gummy Bear Night Light, P1,950.
This 7-inch adorable gummy bear is a handy night light that your kids can bring anywhere should they feel the need to have one. It’s flexible, squeezable (just like the real gummy bear) and it switches on just by squeezing the tummy. It is also wall-mountable and has a 60-second sleep timer. I suddenly wanna get this for the lil’ GJGs just because it’s cute and useful but currently, it’s sold out.
Healthsmart Kids Margo Moo Reusable Hot/Cold Compress, P1,400.
This isn’t an ordinary plush toy. Margo Moo can be hot and cold depending on your mood. This reusable hot/cold compress is the prefect aid for your child’s boo-boo. Got a bump or upset stomach? Let Margo help you ease it out. This is also something I ‘m getting for myself, eeeerrr I mean for the kids. 😉
HomeMed labels its products with their “HM1” badge which lets customers know that their products are carefully curated catalogue of products for children that went through a careful thought process and product selection before it lands a spot in their product portfolio. Their products are discerningly inspected for both properties of quality and characteristics of fun before final inclusion into their catalogue.
It really pains me to see my kids (well, more of lil’ Ms. GJG) struggle when it comes to dealing with the things that can help them get well, let them be better and simply help their overall well being. With HomeMed, I am a little less stressed as I’ve got these cool and nifty home care products. A compressor nebulizer that becomes an inviting and adorable, cuddly pal, a backpack that becomes a confidence-booster in seconds by transforming your child into a superhero, a thermometer that becomes a pet that reminds your child he/she has temperature and needs to rest, a lunch bag or wrist band that alerts to people frequently around your child of his/her allergy and an adorable plush toy that becomes an oral care teaching buddy. These and so much more make up HomeMed, products that multi-task: to dissipate anxieties and to function as a medical device.
Thanks again Kathering for letting me get first dibs on HomeMed’s curated catalogue of pediatric products. Please restock Gummy Bear Night Light (in green) and Margo Moo too as I know they’de be really useful for my children. 🙂
