I think this time in my life is the perfect time to try new things. Though I would not go far as to reinvent myself, trying new things is always a good idea. I start small by doing different looks using different make up products. I promised a few weeks back that I’ll try the latest from Happy Skin–Glam Squad collection–particularly the eye shadow and lipstick by Juan Sarte.
I only used eight products for this look (face powder not included) and was done in 15 minutes!
Zero Kuma Concealer type 2, Bobbi Brown Highlighting Powder in Sunset Glow, MAC Strobe Cream, Happy Skin Glam Squad Eyeshadow Juan Sarte, K-Palette Eyebrow Pencil Tattoo, Happy Skin Glam Squad Matte Lippie Juan Sarte, Benefit They’re Real Push-Up Liner, and Happy Skin Don’t Get Mad Get Even Hydrating Liquid Foundation
Applied Happy Skin Don’t Get Mad Get Even Hydrating Liquid Foundation all over my face, after which I used Zero Kuma Concealer type 2 under my eyes. Then I used MAC Strobe Cream to highlight my T-zone, high point of the cheekbone, under the eyebrow arch, top of the upper lip and chin. I set my face with my MAC Studio Fix Powder NC 35. After doing my base, I usually start with my brows–I used K-Palette Eyebrow Pencil Tattoo then work my way to my eyes using Happy Skin Glam Squad Eyeshadow Juan Sarte and finished it with Benefit They’re Real Push-Up Liner. I just curled my lashes and didn’t bother apply mascara anymore. I dusted Bobbi Brown Highlighting Powder in Sunset Glow on my cheeks and swiped Happy Skin Glam Squad Matte Lippie Juan Sarte on my lips and I’m done!
I’m glad I can do this look in just a few minutes. I used to struggle with eyeshadows but thankfully after much practice I can say I’m getting better. So as not to make my lips the focal point of my face, I balanced it out with my eyes– defined it with the use of dark eyeshadows and black eyeliner. But I didn’t want to go all out so I just dusted my cheeks with a wee bit of color enough to give it a glow.
What do you guys think?
