One of my insecurities is my eyes. It’s almond shape I got from my paternal grandfather. I find it weird, big and droopy like Garfrield’s. Heeehe. But with age comes acceptance. I’ve learned to like it.
I’m not an eye make up person because I really don’t know how to put make up on my eyes. I typically just use eyeliner and mascara and I leave the eye shadow play to professional make up artists, who are very fond of putting make up on my eye. According to them, they like it because the lid if big enough to use multiple shades and it would still be visible when I open my eyes.
Eventually, I learned how to put make up on my eyes and have been practicing since then. So here’s a quick look on how 5 products and a little effort can make a difference to the windows of one’s soul. 🙂
Bare face to start. My eyes are a tad bit livelier all thanks to my semi-permanent eye liner called Eye Define from Browhaus.
Pardon my messy eyebrows, I’m due for grooming next week pa!
Here are 5 make up products that I use to get that quick eye make up look.
Happy Skin All Eye On Hue eyeshadow palette, Benefit Air Patrol BB Cream eyelid primer, Revlon Colorstay eyeliner, Maybelline Great Lash mascara, and Majolica Majorca eyebrow mascara.
5 quick steps:
1. Apply Benefit Air Patrol BB Cream eyelid primer (this will help set the eye make – perfect also for oily lids).
2. Apply Happy Skin All Eyes On Hue. First use the Oatmeal shade, swipe it fully on the lid, followed by the Hazelnut shade at the outer corner of the eyes.
3. Line the lash line of the eyes with Revlon Colorstay eyeliner.
4. Curl the lashes and proceed to apply Maybelline Great Lash mascara.
5. Brush your eyebrows and swipe one coat of Majolica Majorca eyebrow mascara.
Add a bit of blush on your cheeks and a lipstick of your choice, set everything with face powder and you’re good to go! This is my usual face whenever I’m out for a meeting or to cover events. And it takes me about 5 minutes to complete this look.
More defined and bright eyes for me! 🙂
