We’ve been doing weekend brunch for the past few months as a way for us to get acquainted with Dubai and what it has to offer. Though admittedly, I still get anxious whenever we head out but knowing the establishments we go to practice safety protocols, I’ve been more calm and relaxed.
Some of my Instagram friends suggeted Dampa Seafood Grill as one of the restaurants to try here in Dubai. So we Wazed our way to Deira to try it out.
Coming in and I immediately felt the warm hospitality of Pinoys. Once the staff knew we’re kabayan (fellow Pinoy) they were even more courteous.
The feel of the restaurant reminds me so much of the ones back in Manila.
We wanted to order the Dump @ Seafest but we decide to try some of their grilled seafood instead.
Barriers across each table as part of their safety protocol.
Snapped this photo of our firstborn (who rarely poses for me) and Mr. Go while we wait for our food.

Kids had grilled chicken BBQ. Juro also tried and enjoyed grilled squid like I did. It was tender and flavorful. But my husband and I agreed Gangstah Lobstah was our favorite. The cheapest lobster we’ve ever had. Though it was simply prepared–straight grilled, we thoroughly enjoyed it with lots of rice!
Dampa Seafood Grill is located on the ground floor of Centurion Star Hotel, Deira Dubai. Get in touch with them at 04 299 0884 . For more information you can follow them on Facebook.
