What I like about shopping is the process of finding and searching for something that’s interesting. I like shopping for things that have double purpose- style and functionality are both important to me when choosing for products that I use. Living in a condominium is also a big factor for I cannot afford having too many things as our apartment can only hold so much.
I recently discovered Qrius, a store that houses unique and useful products ranging from home, kitchen, bath, even digital accessories. Their innovative products are beyond functional, they’re quirky too! Each of their products has been Qrated (curated by Qrius) to provide you with a comfortable and simple lifestyle – an added benefit that only the Qrius ones can have.
I admit I am a curious cow! I love learning about new products especially those that can greatly help homemakers like me be effortlessly efficient.
I immediately checked them out online at www.qrius.ph. I love that most stores have set up their online stores. It’s so much easier and convenient to check out their products when you can’t go out or refuse to go out due to traffic.
Qrius’ website is so pleasing to the eye, there’s tabs per caterogry and slider to show their latest products. Did I mention their website also serves as an online store? Love!
The need to find the perfect iPad 1 case that has multiple position stand was the spark that started Qrius. Charlene of CJC: Tradequest Inc.(the company behind Qrius) came across the wonderful product from Quirky called Cloak, the first 3-position stand in the market. When the iPad 1 first came out, you would have only found products with either a typing, a landscape or a portrait stand. It might have been possible to find a case with two of these functions but not one with all three. With this need, it opened up the opportunity for the birth of Qrius. Charlene, the woman behind Qrius, is constantly on a lookout for things that offer function which usually are taken for granted or just plain forgotten.
We used to call ourselves “Curious Cases,” a brand we penned precisely since we began selling just that- a case. Since then our product line has grown in number and diversity. Now, we have seven brands from the USA, HongKong, and Japan, all of which we are proud of – Quirky, BlueLounge, Zing Anything, Silconezone, Siconi, Basupo and Kichito.. Our main line of products is under the Quirky brand. Quirky is an online consumer products company with a social development twist— products for the people, created and designed by the people. Its goal is to make inventions possible. We are focused on giving the Filipino consumers simple joys to make life easier.- Charlene of Qrius.

After contemplating on what to get, here’s my loot from Qrius.
Most of what I got are very helpful for me when it comes to organizing and keeping our home clutter-free. Charlene was so generous she added a Shell hard case for our iPad 2, which is now running on its second life (thank God it was repaired!).
This Click ‘N Cook is da bomb! Imagine it only occupies a small square space in my kitchen but in return, gives me five different cooking utensils.
Space saver it is, that’s why I like it. So functional and easy to use. It’s literally click and cook.
Sponge Pocket 500 php.
Don’t you hate it when the sponge you use to wash and clean your dishes or even your child’s bottles are always exposed to germs? The stagnant water absorb by the sponge can pass on germs to the utensils, down to their users. Oh how ironic. Fret not, with Sponge Pocket your sponge cleaner hangs on your sink letting excess water drip, lessening the chances of contamination.
Instantly turns ordinary liquid soap into foam. KS Soap Dispenser can cut more than half of the amount of liquid soap you use, as the foam helps create more suds.
Here’s the Sponge Pocket and KS Soap Dispenser in action on my kitchen sink. So sleek, so clean, so organized no? 🙂
My favorite from my loot is this Aqua Zinger that is at 1,450 php. If you’re not fond of drinking plain ol’ water like I am then this product is perfect for you! It basically infuses flavor to your water by adding a zest of flavors from fresh fruits.
See the bottom part? That’s where you put the fresh cut fruits that will get mixed in your water.
They also opened their second store at the 3rd level of Glorietta 5 in Makati as well. Their third branch will soon open at the 4th floor of the new SM Megamall Building B Extension sometime in December. Hooray for those who live in Ortigas, Mandaluyong & San Juan!
Currently, Qrius items can be found in different distribution outlets in Metro Manila and Cebu. Their current distribution outlets include Rustan’s Department Store (Makati and Shangri La malls), AVA.ph, Dimensione, Scribe, The A Shop, Odyssey, and iStore (and Switch).
Thank you Charlene for introducing me to your store! 🙂 Your quirky, cool and functional products are so nice, I plan on making a wish list for my family & friends to grant this Christmas!
Men, if you’re reading this (okay, women na din) visit www.qrius.ph to get your partner a perfect gift this holiday season!

The most utilised of them all, plus the soap dispenser. Super useful as it really makes the soap into a foam!
