CLEAN was ahead of its time when we introduced our first fragrance in 2003. CLEAN dreamed of a different kind of perfume with a scent that was fresh and pure–inspired by a simple bar of soap. And ten years later, CLEAN’s innovative scents evoke a sense of the simplest pleasures in life: Warm Cotton, Fresh Laundry, Skin and others. Now, the brand announces its latest creation- CLEAN Skin and Rain Eau de Parfum. I together with Tin aka Manila Fashion Observer (who is partly seen in my photo below) and Eliza aka Painter’s Wife witnessed the intimate gathering of CLEAN lovers last week at Aracama in Fort, BGC. It was a rainy afternoon but that didn’t stop us from going and getting first dibs on their latest scents!

Rain is the first aquatic floral fragrance in the CLEAN line of fragrances that capture life’s simple pleasures. In this instance, it is the moment following a fresh rainfall. The fragrance is housed in an aquamarine bottle that calls to mind the deep blue-greens of the forest.
Easy-to-wear yet subtly sensual, CLEAN Skin captures the inviting scent of clean skin at its best. The fragrance opens with light notes of lotus blossom and fresh air accord and evolves to reveal a heart of aquatic florals layered on top of a sheer white musk and hints of amber wood. The result is a subtle and unique fragrance that evokes the familiar and loved scent of fresh, warm, bare skin.
Out of all the CLEAN scents that I have encountered, I have to say CLEAN Ultimate still is my favorite. But after getting a closer look and smell at CLEAN Skin and CLEAN Rain, I think I have found two new favorites!
I love that despite CLEAN was inspired from soap, their two new scents were different. They still have the signature scent of freshness, but what got me was the subtle hint of vanilla for CLEAN Skin and musk for CLEAN Rain. I also love that the top notes (the scent that is left on your skin after hours of spraying them), Honeydew for Skin and Dewy Melon for Rain, both leave traces of sweetness complementing the natural fragrance of my skin.
