She’s an Industrial Engineer by education and worked in the corporate world for 6 years. When she got married, she left her job in Manila and moved to Boston to join her husband who just finished getting his Ph.D. For the first three years, she pursued her master’s degree in Supply Chain Management while taking care of her baby.

Because she is a hands on mom, going back to the corporate world wasn’t suitable for the situation. Nonetheless, her training and knowledge from grad school gave her confidence in setting up her own business. With the encouragement of her husband, she decided to put up her own business. She wanted something that she’s passionate about, thus Chichi Mary was born.

I want to run my own business because it is also one of the best ways where I can control my time and spend more time taking care of my daughter. I feel that it gives me the opportunity to pursue something for myself but at the same time, still have the luxury to be a hands-on mom to my daughter.

The goal of Chichi Mary is to make global brands of designer children’s wear available to the Philippines and hopefully, Southeast Asia. To provide Filipinos with easy and convenient access to global kid’s fashion.
