The road to eating healthy has been paved people! So glad that more and more restaurants have come up with healthy selections for those who are really conscious with what they eat.
Recently, another healthy joint opened in Manila and it’s called Bliss Bowls.
My fitness beshies & I–The Fit Stop–stopped by Bliss Bowls to try their smoothie bowls.
Smoothie Bowls are essentially thick smoothies you eat in a bowl, topped with premium all-natural ingredients. They are a big health food trend in the US and UK, and now enjoy them in Manila with BLISS BOWLS, Manila’s FIRST Smoothie Bowl Bar!
Bliss Bowls are made with 100% pure fruit, vegetables, and superfoods, with absolutely no ice, water, dairy, or sugar added. They’re absolutely delicious, and you can enjoy them all day long – for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or a pre- or post-workout snack.
Berry Bliss (P199) is Bliss Bowl’s bestselling bowl that boosts performance, endurance, and immunity. It is a delicious and refreshing blend of strawberries, beets, banana, and fresh coco water, topped with fruit, granola, and coconut flakes.
Green Dream (P260) is their signature green bowl that is an ideal lunch. Made with spinach, mango, banana, organic chia seeds, and fresh coco water, it’s like salad, but colder! Green Dream has anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties, and helps promote weight loss and a flat belly.
For those who prefer a creamier green bowl, Bliss Bowls also have Green Soul or Amazing Kale, both of which are made with coconut or almond milk.
A bowl is a meal itself. It’s satisfyingly filling and really good. Jeff (of Pinoy Fitness) isn’t a fan of vegetables but he was surprised that the bowls tasted nothing like vegetables!
Cacao Kiss (P260) is an absolutely delicious chocolate bowl that promotes heart health and is a natural anti-depressant. Made with banana, strawberries, unsweetened cocoa, nut butter, coconut or almond milk, granola, and coconut flakes, this is basically the healthy dessert of your dreams.
Other products include bottled beverages and nut mylks (P80 to P165), flax brownie and coconut bliss balls (P90 to P250), and healthy grab-and-go chips and snacks.
Congratulations Pam and Bliss Bowls & thank you for being an advocate of healthy eats! Thanks for giving me another reason to go to Megamall. 😀
Check out The Fit Stop crew and our visit at Bliss Bowl on our YouTube channel (we’ll post it soon!) and know which bowls we’ve tried and which ones are our favourites.
All Bliss Bowls smoothie bowl bases are vegan. Their granola may contain honey (they vary our granola flavors) but can be substituted with rolled oats. They use regular oats to make their granola (not GF oats), but you can substitute with extra coconut flakes for a gluten-free option. Everything on their menu is nut-free except Cacao Kiss. Their granola is likewise nut-free. Calorie count and other information will be available at the bar.
