Those who know me know that I like to eat. Though I am no foodie, I take good food seriously. After all, I workout because I don’t want to deprive myself of good food. So when the guys behind Backyard invited me and my fitness beshies for lunch to try out their new dishes, I didn’t think twice because #thisiswhyIworkout. Heehee.

CESAR STEAK SALAD, Php 295
Tender hanger steak , romaine lettuce, croutions, bacon, parmesan cheese, drizzled with homemade caesar dressing.
Grilled buttered sweet corn brushed with mayo, ricotta cheese and chives. Have it grated so you can enjoy it with other dishes or just chomp and bite as you please.
BEEF STEAK & EGGS, Php 510
Char grilled hanger steak, two sunny side eggs and fresh cut fries. I think this is a good recovery food.
STEAK & BACON FLATBREAD, Php 295
Hanger steak and bacon, mozzarella mushrooms, onions & pepper drizzled with steak sauce. Flavourful and meaty that’s good to share with friends.
300g hanger steak & 250g prawn in garlic butter with mashed potato, french beans and roasted cherry tomatoes on the side.
Capped off our hearty lunch with this creamy, rich leche flan cheesecake!
Probably my favorite of the bunch this Surf & Turf platter. I love steak and prawns kasi and I’m pretty sure if I was hangry, I could finish this by myself.
