I always seem to find something I need whenever I’m at a bookstore. The smell of paper and books, the unli-doodle as I try pens & markers and the knick knacks I discover always prompt me to leave the store not empty handed or at very least happy.
So when my fellow mommas and I were invited to shop at National Bookstore for back-to-school I was one excited parent because I truly enjoy shopping for supplies for my kids.
Rochelle Rivera, Kaycee Enerva, Ava Zabat, Frances Sales, Mika Martinez, Ginger Arboleda, Nikki Tiu, Shari Macainag, Kath Rivera and yours truly all set to shop!
It would usually take a few hours for me to leisurely go around National Book Store but since I veered away from lurking around the book section, I instead shopped for a few minutes as I went around the stationary and school supplies area. I like that its easy to navigate around the store & you can pretty much find what you’re looking for with ease because it’s arranged neatly and categorically.
So many cute items for students and for those who just love stationary supplies. From cute erasers to different kinds of pens and markers, they’ve got it!
National Book Store has all the school supplies my kids need. Best part? It was in one area which made it easy for me to shop.
You know I’m always drawn to the four letter word that every shopper loves–SALE! When I spotted this over the Kate Spade kiosks, I knew I had to check it out.
Huli ka!
These Kate Spade monogram tumblers are so chic!
So this is how I look like when I shop–checking the item so seriously!
Chic gold tote & tumbler from Kate Spade.
I can’t get enough planner/notebook/stationary.
Everything in this photo, I want! All from Kate Spade.
Missing student life as fellow mommas Shari, Ava & I enjoy a moment at the back-to-school vignette set up at National Bookstore Glorietta.
Another one for me this time with Nikki Tiu!
Ever since my kids started school, they’ve make it a point to contribute to National Book Store’s Project Aral. A set of notebook and pencils for Php 25 goes to a student who needs it. This is such a lovely project of NBS which my kids & I fully support year after year. Thank you National Book Store for paving way to help underprivileged students. 🙂
Here are some of my back-to-school loot. From basic school supplies, to sanitary & personal hygiene kit for my kids. I got these for them and some for me too! Couldn’t resist me a Kate Spade notebook and the tumbler I plan to give to my best friend!
If you can’t find the time to go to NBS store, you can call their hotline (02) 8888-627. Give the list of supplies you need and have them shipped over. You can also shop online through www.nationalbookstore.com. There’s a dedicated back-to-school section on the site. You can even shop by grade level to immediately see the recommended supplies per level. Ang galing! Perfect for working moms who need to shop for their kids. Best part? Orders worth Php 1,000 or above get free shipping! So convenient & stress-free shopping at the comfort of your own home.
[…] Tomorrow is lil’ Mr. JG’s first day in big school. I can’t believe I no longer have a baby. As sentimental as I am about how time flies for this momma, I am equally excited for my kids for this milestone in their lives. As I wrote before on one of my posts, I love shopping for back-to-school and I shared my experience shopping at National Book Store. […]
