Keeping a toddler busy and preoccupied can be easy but engaging her in something she likes doing and at the same time learn from it could be a challenge. So I’m sharing with you all some of the activities that Gabbie is currently enjoying. She’s fond of watching Art Attack on Disney channel and Artzooka on Nickelodeon and doing these activities makes her feel like she’s part of the shows.
Here are some things you can buy so that your little one can unleash the artist in her. And yes, the art attack items are all below 199.99 pesos!
Spongebob 68 pieces Coloring Kit P199.75 at Toys R Us.
Crayons, colored pencils, markers, water color are some of the items included in this all-in-one coloring kit. Gabbie is into drawing and coloring lately and can quite draw basic shapes. She was very delighted when she saw this so I bought it. She has been using them ever since, now all our scratch papers are put to good use!
Stencils for tracing and coloring. These were given by Gabbie’s cousins. But I think these are available at a book store or toy store, that I have to double check.
Paper Clay Art P50 at National Bookstore.
Filling the pattern with clay made of paper is one of the activities Gabbie & I enjoy doing.
Here’s our finished product.
Mini Play-Doh P79 at Toy Kingdom.
Tiny too cute it fits on the palm of my hand, talk about handy dandy!
Imagination runs wild with Play-Doh as you create and shape things out of them. Gabbie particularly loves creating food out of it. Carrots, broccoli, peas, french fries are just some of her favorites.
Honing your kids’ interest with art is easier now with all the things that can aid you in doing so. You don’t need to spend a lot nor go elsewhere to have some art attack fun. It helps even more if you do the activities with your little one.
These activities will help prepare Gabbie when she enters school hopefully next year. Since she’s stuck at home with me, it is my job to keep her pre-occupied and busy by letting her try activities that she shows interest in.
What activity do you do with your toddler? I’d love to know!
Happy first of October everyone!

True! Keeping a toddler busy is quite hard… specially my son since he loves doing everything. During his toddler years, we used to play with Play-Doh. He learned the basic colors with Play-Doh.
