Alaska Merry Cremas Festival is back and fortunately, I was once again invited – my first Alaska Merry Cremas Festival was last year – to get first dibs on the dishes made with Alaska Crema All-Purpose Cream. The local merchants came from different parts of the metro to showcase their best sweet and savoury dishes which are perfect to feast this holiday season.
Alaska Merry Cremas Festival 2015 was held at the activity centre of Trinoma Mall in Quezon City. Here I was with fellow mommas and foodies at heart, Michelle Lim of My Mom Friday and Rowena Lei of Animetric. We’re sooooo ready to attack! 😀
The gates opened to public at 11 in the morning. Mall goers that morning stopped by as the colorful red and white booths and enticing food display made put their shopping to a halt.
Not only do they get to sample dishes, they also got to take home Alaska goodies and had a chance to win prizes during the raffle draw.
Guests also had a chance to win more Alaska goodies when they join the quick and fun contest.
While the moms, wander around the activity centre, kids (and kids at heart) got to busy themselves at the activity booths – ball toss and art workshop.
There’s more than a handful of merchants each having a unique dish offering that’s made with Alaska Creama. I was eager to try all of them but found myself too overwhelmed with the selection, so I picked those that first caught my eye– booth wise and food wise. Nonetheless, I took tons of photos for us to salivate over and perhaps be inspired to recreate over the holidays, yes?
Couldn’t help but try Manong’s Bagnet. I can smell the delicious scent of bagnet and laing a mile away!
Their shredded bagnet made with Alaska Crema All-Purpose Cream was soooo good!

My favorite would have to be the Beef Tacos & Cheesy Cassava Cake. Both gave a creamy finish to each dish. 
We were also entertained through a live performance by 3G.
Another successful year #MerryCremas! Congratulations again and thanks for having me. I truly enjoyed sampling dishes and I hope I get to do this again next year!
