I’ve been craving for vegetables lately and whenever I couldn’t get a serving, I feel like something’s missing, like my day isn’t complete. I KNOW RIGHT?! It’s weird because I’m really the type who prefers meat (carnivore talaga ako e) and loves me junk food but since I’ve been committed to being healthy, I find too much junk food and meat alone makes me feel very lethargic (hello energy gap!).
So I started the year right by preparing my meals. Since I’ve been preparing my family’s meals, I figure why not do the same for myself?
I searched (thank you Google!) for easy and healthy recipes. There are dishes that are super easy to do like stews where you dump everything in a slow cooker–I need to get me a slow cooker first! Hahahaha. So I ended up searching for dishes that are prepared using an air fryer.
Here’s what I got: Chicken & Veggie Spinach Wrap
So colourful, so pretty! So yummy!
Ingredients:
Spinach wrap (brought from the supermarket)
Broccoli
Bell pepper
Tomato
Mushroom
Asparagus
Chicken breast
Procedure:
Wash and cut vegetables into bite size, let it dry a bit before putting in the air fryer–set timer to 10 minutes. As for the chicken, you can season with soy sauce or salt & pepper and air fry for 15 minutes.
Quick tip: spray your air fryer basket with olive oil so the food won’t stick. Also you can air fry the spinach wrap to make it a bit toasty!
5 minutes to prepare, 25 minutes to cook. In 30 minutes you get to enjoy this healthy dish. Easy peasy yet so yummy!
