Shopping is always something every girl loves doing. One of the many reasons why we oftentimes go to department stores is because of variety and I believe SM has got that covered. SM (Shoe Mart) is one of the few malls that offers a good mix of local brands but I bet some of you didn’t know that they also carry imported labels from the USA as seen in their Fashion Forum area located at the ladies section of the department store.
I’ve been quite familiar with Fashion Forum as I’ve read them at Tin & Jennie’s blogs because I am a fan of Jeffrey Campbell. So I was super duper excited when I had a chance to have a more in depth look and visit SM Megamall’s Fashion Forum with my blogger friends.
Fashion Forum is a multi-brand boutique of popular and contemporary labels from USA inside SM Department stores. It offers carefully chosen clothings ranging from size 0-16, varying from work clothes, weekend dresses, party & cocktail dresses and even formal wears & gowns. The clothes are reasonably priced and are even below the US standard retail price, and new items arrive in store monthly. Plus, each carefully selected piece is available only one per size so you won’t have to worry bumping into someone wearing the same dress as you. It is definitely a one-stop shop for women.
A lovely chandelier and accent chairs make the area of Fashion Forum so chic.
Shades of green and blue, I like them all!
Maxi dresses that can go from day to night, from casual to semi-formal.
Pretty gowns for formal occasions. I’m loving the venus cut metal-gray dress on the right.
What I love about Fashion Forum is that the staff are very courteous, well-trained and are efficient. If you want a particular style or size from a brand they carry, just ask the staff to update you for their new arrivals and they’ll notify you via email or text for store updates and even for sale announcements. Now that’s good service!
Some of the brands housed under Fashion Forum are: Adrianna Papell, Ali Ro, Arture Chang, Chetta B, Chinese Laundry, David Meister, Donna Morgan, Donna Ricco,Eliza J, Ellen Tracy, Jax, Jeffrey Campbell, Jessica Howard, Julia Jordan, Julie Brown, London Times, Maggy London, Marc New York, Muse, Taylor, Vince Camuto, BB Dakota, Max & Cleo, Miss Couture, Report, Seychelles & Toki Doki.
And because my closet is full of newly acquired clothes, I decided to take a look at Fashion Forum’s shoe section instead. I love shoes but because being a mom requires me to wear shoes wherein I can easily walk and run. I have set aside my craving for acquiring (turning the wants into needs) such lovely creations that I know I will only use once in a blue moon. I am now more careful when it comes to buying clothes and shoes as I make sure what I buy are of good quality and are staple pieces which can last season after season and trend after trend. And Jeffrey Campbell is one of those brands that are stylish yet staple.
Shoe porn: I love these Jeffrey Campbells.
Lita love. Tempted to buy the gray or the royal blue one.
Foxy on me. Fits nice but the T-strap was a bit loose.
Spikey flats. Ooooh these are standout shoes! I also want the Skulltini flats, instead of spikes there’s tiny skulls on the shoe. They’ll arrive probably at the end of November so I’ll check them out soon.
Spikey me likey.
Adorable Aubrey plastic platform wedge. I’m in love!
As of today I have two JCs
My Tick is such a stand out shoes.
My Fairlane is Lita’s sister or at least that’s what I think.
I still want a Lita and a Foxy, an Aubrey and a Skulltini but I guess it’ll take time before I get to buy all four due to budget constrains heehee. Anyway, here’s what I got that afternoon of shopping.
Brown open toe wedge from Chinese Laundry. Finally! I’ve been eyeing this pretty for the longest time and I got it for almost 30% off it’s original price of P3,000+ during SM Megamall 3 day sale last October. Can’t wait to show you all an outfitey post wearing this comfortable wedge.
For those of you who still want to shop fret not, you can still get hold of the sale items of Fashion Forum until November 15,2012.
