Back in the 90s, wearing loose shirts with straight cut high waist jeans paired with Birkenstock & socks were the in thing. One of the brands that dominated the uniform polo shirt trend was Giordano. Wearing the iconic “man” & “frog” logo makes you a cool kid. This prompted me to constantly nag my sister- to let me borrow her Giordano shirts for she has it in different colors.
Visiting the newly opened Giordano Concepts Store in SM North The Block rekindled my love for the brand. The store houses six of Giordano’s lines, each retaining its personal brand.
Concepts by Giordano Group resembles a little village that showcases the six Giordano lines- Giordano, Giordano Concepts, Giordano Juniors, Giordano Ladies, Concepts One, BSX, making it a one-stop store for the entire family to shop.
Giordano Junios, for kids four to fourteen years of age. It provides simple and stylish apparel that young moms will also love. The pieces are stylish without sacrificing quality, comfort, and wearability.

After trying out a handful of clothes, I was completely blown away with this Giordano Ladies white long vest. The only problem is, it’s the last piece and its three sizes bigger than what I usually wear. Still, this didn’t stop me from getting it.
I’ve justified it by wearing it as a dress. It may be a tad bit loose but it can be altered should I want to wear it as a vest. But for now, I’d like to keep the fit this way.
