Confession: I like wine and I’m not gonna lie. ?
So when I learned about 26th St. Bistro Wine Pairings I asked my fellow mommas to join me for a mid-day catchup.
BURRATA, FRESH TOMATOES, AND BASIL, Php 395
A ball of burrata served with fresh tomatoes, basil and grilled sourdough presented in a wooden chopping board.
It’s got some walnuts & basil to boot.
Burrata is one cheese I cannot resist! I think I had about three servings of this. ?
GRILLED TERIYAKI SALMON, Php 565
Salmon fillet grilled & drizzled with teriyaki sauce, served with buttered vegetables & forbidden rice.
I enjoyed this dish simply because the salmon was tender & not dry! It has the right amount of teriyaki sauce too which, if I wasn’t with my friends I would’ve finished this entirely by myself. Hihihi.
Prosciutto Pasta with Cream, Php 425
Prosciutto & spaghettini in cream sauce, topped with poached egg & fresh arugula.
Loco Moco, Php 425
Grilled USDA burger steak, topped with caramelises onions, sunny side up egg, & rum gravy. Served with jasmine rice & grilled pineapple.
This dish is perfect for the burger lovers.
STEAK IN MARSALA SAUCE, Php 555
USDA steak with mashed potato & marsala sauce
Another dish that I truly enjoyed because the steak is gooooood!
Here’s the beer & wine menu. You can ask your server what wine Is best for what dish. They’ll gladly recommended you the best pairing.
All smiles because we enjoyed our brunch! 26th St. Bistro made us realize that brunch is much better with wine! How come we never thought about this before?! Hahaha!
Beringer Zinfandel is easily one of my favorites!
