One weekday, Tin Dychiao aka Manila Fashion Observer and I had a “me time” together. It was a midweek that needed much R&R because we were so caught up with motherhood, homemaking and blogging that we decided we deserve a treat (it was a valid excuse di ba?). To our delight, Toccare Spa invited us to experience their Wellness Package. Perfection!
What exactly is a Toccare Spa Wellness Package?
The Wellness Package is a holistic treat. All your five senses are stimulated to enhance your pamper time at Toccare Spa.
First, we were asked to choose an oil scent. We both picked the green tea scent, it was a soothing and calming but not overpowering. Betchinabells!
Next, we get to choose what music to listen to. I get that most spas have this calming nature or classic music playing while you have your massage. But sometimes, it’s also relaxing and refreshing to hear something different playing while you get your bones cracked. Heehee, I sound so masochistic but in reality I am far from it! So obviously, I choose Enya. Ma-i lang! As in maiba lang heehee.
Before we had our treatments, we were able to tour around the place. Here’s the cozy nail spa area that you can rent for an intimate me-time with friends or even host a bridal sparty.
Here’s the banyo, paka-conyo lang the way I say it. Haha. In fairness, I love the bathroom. It’s clean, smells clean and is spacious enough to entertain a handful of clients. Ang sarap lang magchikahan inside.
Because Tin & I weren’t prepared, (we should’ve packed our swimsuits) we didn’t get to experience the jacuzzi. Di bale, there’s always a next time!
Banyo queen! Pati shower head dapat may photo talaga!
Beauty potions were brushed on our bodies before we hit the sauna. As I kid Tin, we were like pigs getting ready to be roasted. Lakas maka-lechon levelz. 😉
Love the sauna. How I wish I had one at home. 30 minutes in here and I felt like I’ve lost inches off my arms and waist! Fun to go in a sauna with a friend kasi if you’re alone, you will get bored but doncha worry, Toccare Spa has a TV mounted just outside the sauna so you can watch while sauna-ing!
After our sauna, we then proceeded with our massage. I had the traditional hilot massage that was accompanied by hot stones. I tell you it was one of the best massages I’ve had. It was downright relaxing and all the soreness of my aching body were massaged away. It’s like having a massage from your trusted neighborhood manghihilot except that you’re in a nicer, cozy place!
Thank you Toccare Spa for the lovely afternoon, thank you also Leah Dy for the invite! 🙂
