We’ve finally gotten our groove back. The New Year breeze has finally fainted along with all the Chinese New Year celebrations and we’re back to our daily grind. It’s comforting to be back to being a driver mom and a homemaker because it’s something I do everyday. While I do love vacations and holidays, I do like my routines as well.
The thing about being a mom on the go is that sometimes you really don’t have enough time in your hands to do things. I own a cold pressed juicer which I haven’t opened ever (I knoooow) and even though I wanna prepare my own juices, I just don’t have enough time to do so. To be honest, the amount of money I’ll spend on buying fruits & veggies plus the time and effort I need to put in feels like a lot of work for me. So for now I don’t mind buying cold-pressed juices na lang. Heehee.
Trying to eat healthy & clean on weekdays so I tired Isabels salads & soups this week. They have their own farm so you’re guaranteed of fresh veggies. You can also customise your own menu should you have any specific allergy or intolerance. To order visit https://isabels.com.ph
To cap off the long work/school week, we indulge in these Ben & Jerrys! No need to hunt down Ben & Jerry’s ice cream at specialty stores because it is finally available at leading supermarkets and convenience stores here in Manila. Yay! #PeaceLoveAndIceCream indeed!
Our weekend started out pretty early because our kids had their dental appointment. They love seeing their dentists once every six months to get their teeth cleaned & to make sure they’re brushing right.
After our early morning appointment, we had lunch at Mamou because I was seriously craving for their steak & truffle pasta.
We also had our family portrait that day and here’s a BTS photo I took of my boys. They had so much energy! Will share the final photos on my Instagram so follow me @gojackiego
I can’t believe it’s March next week. Excited for another new week and looking forward to another month too!
