This week’s highlight is LOVE simply because it’s Valentine’s Day. While I’m not a fan of celebrating this holiday, I do however am all for taking some time to love yourself & the special people in your life.
I always start my week with a good workout. Monday mornings are usually spent at the gym lifting weights & running. Here I was all smiles after a good workout! Bra top & tights from @vidaathletic
I think I’m still hungover from our quick beach trip last weekend. There were days in this week that I just want to hibernate–stay home and do nothing, like literally nothing. But hibernating would have to wait on weekends as these two rely heavily on my for their day to day lives. Some days I love it, some days I just feel exhausted.
One of the packages I received last week that I just need to share. If you love Estee Lauder as much as I do, now is the time to buy your faves because February is Gift Time! For every purchase worth Php 6,000 of Estee Lauder products, you can get a travel skincare set and pouch. Top up to Php 7,000 and get a tote bag too!
Available at Rustan’s Makati, Rustan’s Shangri-La, Rustan’s ATC, Rustan’s Gateway, Rustan’s Cebu, SM MOA, SM Megamall, SM North EDSA, Lucky Chinatown & Rockwell.
This week, I also discovered a ready to eat & heat meals by way of Mama V! Their Bacon Carbonara was a hit with my kids! That’s all they’ve been eating ghee first two days of the week. ? While I enjoyed the Garlic Sotanghon. They also have ready to fry food like Angus Tapa, Daing na Bangus & Chicharon Bulaklak. Best part? These are packed in individual servings so you don’t have to thaw the whole thing. Perfect for those who wants portion size!
Crunchy Kropek was enjoyed by Gabbie since she loves it! I on the other hand, enjoyed Chicharon Bulaklak & Angus Beef Tapa (no photo because I wiped it out! Haha) I’ll definitely gonna order more. Check out Mama V’s complete list of products at @mamavdelicious.ph
I miss lazy days where I sit in coffee shops, write random things & people watch. I’m glad I was able to do that this week (I can’t remember the last time I did this!). It was during the day before Valentine’s when I had to pick up Jago from work.
We don’t do Valentines. It’s usually a pre or post celebration for us. While most guys I saw while I was people watching were holding flowers, I got super happy when Jago handed me a big bag of Royce! I love, love, love me a box or three of potato chip covered chocolate! He surely knows the way to my ❤️.
And because he knows I love steak, we had our pre-V Day dinner at Raging Bull.
Mid-week date is always a welcoming treat.
Aaaand on the day of hearts, I received this yummy Manchego Cheesecake from the kitchen of Sinfully Sabrina. Sab makes one of the yummiest & prettiest looking cakes here in Manila. You can check out her creations & order them through @sinfullysabrina
Literally spent Valentine’s Day with my cutie date who likes long walks from his school, sharing my sweets & being carried like he’s still my baby. Enjoying this stage in his life where he’s been totally clingy to me! I rarely wear red but this Collezione polo shirt in collaboration with Kelly Misa-Fernandez is a keeper! Check out the rest of the collection over at @collezionec2ph
Friday was spent at our newest neighborhood hangout, Santolan Town Plaza. Our post Valentines date included watching Lego The Movie 2, two hours at the arcade and capped off with dinner.
I was also able to spend a few hours within the week for some self care. I had my hair trimmed at Design Studio, my teeth checked at Centre For Advanced Dentistry and also got a lash extension at Ayumi. I had Ange Curl done. The treatment curls your actual lashes before applying sable mink Japanese lashes. Compared to the lash extension I had done years ago, this one feels so light like you’re not wearing anything on. Such a pleasant surprise! The Ange Curl is at Php 3,500 but if you’re interested to try it, use the code ANGECURL10 and get 10% off! Don’t forget to show the staff this post when you have your lashes done okay? ☺️
