Last week of January went by so fast and yet it was also slow. I was down to my last four days of my 30 Day No Sweets Challenge and I was literally counting the days, hours, minutes until it was over. I’ll save the whole story about it on another post. Hahahuhu.
Anyhow, it was an interesting week because I started it by hanging out with Juro since he didn’t have school on Monday. He went with me to the gym and while I was working out, he was busy working on his Lego.
And because he got tired of “working out with me” he asked to be fed. So we went on a lunch date. Heehee. The start of the week is off to a pretty good start.
Getting my weekly dose of good stretch & gapped vibes with my Pilates squad. Always so much working out with these mommas!
Spent Wednesday morning visiting the Delonghi showroom to checkout their machines–particularly their Dinamica and their Multifry cooker. Will test them out soon and let you know what I think about them. Thanks Anj for the demo & the coffee!
This week was all about walking three blocks to pick up this cutie from school. He still feels anxious about me not being in front of his line waiting for him upon dismissal. Not that I’m complaining about him being clingy but I just feel stressed being 30 minutes earlier so that I can park and leisurely walk to his gate, kinda slowly getting the hang of it but I still need adjusting. This has never happened before, only after the Christmas holidays. Have you ever experienced this with any of your kids? Any advice?
Anyhow again, heehee over the weekend we caught the Chinese Lion Dance while we were out for dinner. My little boy loves anything about Chinese Lion. He finally got his own Chinese Lion Head. Read about it HERE.
Weekends in the city means most of the time going to the mall to eat & window shop. Arcade is one of the places we frequent to (next to the toy store) and these two love trying new games especially those that they can play together so we spent a good amount of time (and money hahahuhu) at the mall’s arcade and these two couldn’t be any happier.
Capped off the weekend by visiting my mom as she celebrated her birthday. She’s the type who would slave in the kitchen and prepare food for her guests to enjoy. I learned how to cook because of her.
And just like that, January’s done and February’s here. This month is bound to come by fast so be sure to make the most of it!
