Third week of August was uneventful. It was filled with errands and chores. But thankfully there was a midweek holiday which made me feel grateful for a day to rest and spend time with my kids. Some days and weeks, are just too much that a midweek breather is the perfect way to cope up with the busyness life throws.
I’ve been microblogging and am very active on my Instagram. Snippets of my daily life via stories, unboxing videos on my Instagram TV, created (branded) content on my feed. I love randomly posting things over there. Sometimes I tend to neglect my blog. I mean, do people still read blogs? Whether they do or they don’t, I just wanna keep on updating my blog because it has become an online journal for me. I like writing and I terribly miss babbling my way online. I want to keep writing and sharing random, but oftentimes helpful/informative posts because I wanna read them someday, when I’m older, or when I decide to stop blogging or just because.
I find comfort in updating my blog weekly of the things I’ve done or the events that have happened to encourage myself to write more, to remember, to mindfully be in the present. I don’t know if this makes sense but I hope you get it. I have so many things I wanna do–create, share, make. In this day and age where content sharing is as natural as taking a shower or going to bed, finding time to create content while juggling the different roles you play is the challenge, not the content itself. Especially for someone like me who is a hands on mom, homemaker (without any household help), a blogger. I wish I can stretch 24 hours and just be able to do what I want whenever. ? Maybe in the coming years when my kids are a little more independent but I don’t want to wait for those days when they don’t need me as much as they do now. So prioritizing spending time with them first–whether its through school pickups, helping them with their homework, or weekend playdates. Whatever it is, I’ll take it.
Anyhow, while I post most of my workout sets via Instagram highlights, every once in a while, I like editing and posting them via my Instagram TV/feed. Here’s one workout I did at my home gym, The Upperdeck. I couldn’t embed it here may because Instagram TV has a different format.
My maintenance IV Nutrient Therapy at Centro Holistico. Ever since doing this regularly, I notice I have more energy even though I’ve had a full day. It also helps strengthen my immune system, making me more resilient to viruses. Because I really cannot afford to get sick, doing everything in my power to stay well and regular visits to Centro Holistico is a must for me.
My cutie pie celebrated their Linggo Ng Wika this week. How cute is his Mom, I just woke up okay?? look? ?
Meanwhile, my girl Gabbie had her very first field trip in the big school. This week has been eventful for my kids! When she got home that day, we spent the night talking about the things she saw and what she did with her friends/classmates.
Capped off the week with a Fridate with Mr. JG. Every week or at least every other week we go on dates just us two so we can catch up and enjoy dinning out with wine to boot! Heehee. Here’s a quick OOTD bathroom selfie. Loving this top by Rosanna Ocampo. I have a few pieces from this designer because I love how feminine her pieces are yet very wearable.
Capped off the week going on a movie date with these two.
