Back home after our London vacation and it feels so good to be acquainted again with familiarity. I’m the type who would unpack right away and if possible do the laundry too because I don’t like seeing a pile of dirty clothes and suitcase waiting to be emptied. One of the things I also did when I got back was open a few packages. I’ve added a new highlight on my Instagram just for unboxing products. Anyhow one of my faves is this package from Sephora.
This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray, Votary Cleanisng Oil, Soleil Mineral Sunscreen Glow, Kopari Starry Eye Balm, & Olaplex Bond Smoother.
Thrilled to open this because This Works Deeps Sleep Pillow Spray was something I tried during our London trip (mini size was placed on our bed every time the housekeeper makes our room), while Olaplex Bond Smoother is something that was introduced to me by my salon, Design Studio and I swear by it! Equally excited to try Soleil Mineral Sunscreen for that sun protection with a bit of glow even though it’s the rainy season na. The Votary Cleansing Oil which I’ve read good reviews of and the Korapi Eye Balm for that much needed depuffing of my eyes on some days when I’ve had too much salt or too little sleep. Heehee. Take advantage of Sephora’s sale currently happening over at their site https://www.sephora.ph/sale. Pretty sure you’ll find something you want & need!
Spent Independence Day watching a movie and just being with my babies. Here’s my holiday OOTD: top and bottom from Promod, sandals by Tutum Shop and bag by Cathy’s Bag.
Quick selfie in between bathroom break and watching X-Men. Missed my babies so much so this week was all about spending time with them, their last week of summer break.
Did a staycation because we’ve lacked some beach trips this summer. Ordered room service and had Bibimbap to share with my kids.
Then moved to Maxims Hotel where we spend Father’s Day weekend.
Honoring this guy who has been such an amazing dad to these two. I’ve been asked many times how I managed to do everything (well almost everything) without any helper nor yaya and I always say it’s because I have a great husband who does his share of work.
Managed to squeeze in some pool time even though it was gloomy. My baby girl & I wearing our matching Coral Swimwear x Andi Manzano collection.
Meanwhile my cutie boy was busy showing off his muscles! ?
His current fave sport shirt by Point 3. This brand features their patented DRYV® technology–incorporate wipe zones directly on the gear so you can wick sweat away from your body. Absorb it from hands or face. The black parts of Juro’s Point 3 jersey is where the DRYV® tech is. You no longer need to pull up your jersey so you can wipe your sweat, if you’re wearing this Point 3 apparel, you can easily point your head towards either of your shoulder to swipe sweat off. Ang galing! Not only for basketball use but this can also be used for other activities that may require you to sweat (cycling, rowing, weight lifting, biking, running too!). Tried Passion restaurant for the first time. This is conveniently located in Resorts World Manila, just a few floors down from the Maxims Hotel. Tyrly enjoyed our chosen dishes particularly the tara puff. So much so that I forgot to inquire if it has any diary. That night, my lactose-intolerant gut reacted badly and so I was up almost every hour. Huhuhu no regrets though because it was good but this made me realise I can’t really be easy on my diet preference because eating what I’m not supposed to eat has some serious effects on me.
While my kids & Jago enjoyed breakfast buffet and some pool time, I stayed in the room to rest. I was literally in bed the whole morning and only got up when it was time to check out. Feeling cozy and warm in my Zola robe. Use my code JACKIEXZOLA and get 5% off and free shipping for orders above Php 1,500. Shop online through https://zola.com.ph
Capped off Father’s Day weekend watching Manila Classico. It was such an intense game (like always) that we had fun watching it! We love watching basketball games and Juro’s wish is to watch an NBA game live.
This week was a good week to slowly get back into our routine. Also a great way to catchup with our kids and to celebrate Father’s Day. Hoping for more days like this. Next week, our kids will be back to school and it’s driver/cook/yaya mom for me once again!
Mommas who have kids that are going back to school, are you ready? ?
