So the weekend prior to this week was lovely, we spent it at Dusit Hotel and you can read about our staycation HERE. But I couldn’t say the same for this week. It was a busy week & I was so ready to catchup with work but as I was backing up my files on my computer, it suddenly crashed!
Second time this happened to my laptop. I feel v v frustrated as Apple Care told me in my case, I’d have to wait for a third or fourth time this happens before I can claim replacement of unit. WTH ? Worst is I could no longer retrieve some of my files that are recent (like the video clips I tool over the weekend prior) Hasel sa masel. Anyhow, moving forward, after a week I was able to get my laptop back. I was super duper stressed this week that I felt so sick and weak. Huhuhu.
My kids were busy this summer all because I want them to. I realized the past summers I’ve focus on going on beach trips and with my work that I’ve neglected the true meaning of summer–it’s all about my kids. Whatever activities they want for this year, I happily enrolled them to. Swimming was one of the activities they had this summer. I’ve been sharing stories of their sessions the past weeks and it was fun watching them in the water.
Attend the post-Mother’s Day lunch hosted by Celebrity Mom. It was also a celebration of their May issue featuring cover girl Cat Arambulo. I also have an article in the magazine where I shared practical tips on how to kickstart your fitness journey.
So much fun hanging out and catching up with these mommas! Swipe right to see more photos.
First time to try Om restaurant and I enjoyed it! Loved everything we ordered. Honestly, I’ve been into Mediterranean, Indian and Thai dishes lately. I think it’s the boast of flavor plus it has a good mix of veggies & protein.
Consulted with Dra. Candy of Centro Holistico. The first time I went to her clinic was back in 2015. I went to their Alabang clinic and did a colon cleanse. Now I’m back after five years and this time I went with my roomie, Nikki Torres. We both did a consultiaon and I’m happy to report that I’ve improved over the years. My blood analysis was way better than the first time. I was however diagnosed with leaky gut–this was the same diagnosis my OB gyne gave me last year but I wasn’t too keen on treating it. This time around I was determined to treat this symptom. I’ve been trying to lead a healthy lifestyle by working out regularly and eating healthy but if I have a leaky gut then all the efforts I’ve put in is wasted because nutrients from the food I eat aren’t fully absorbed by my body. I do believe being healthy starts with having a healthy gut. So even though I have diet restrictions and a handful of supplements I need to take, I’m more determined to follow the prescription by Dra. Candy. After our consultation we proceeded with an IV drip just because we need a boost. She gave me & Nikki our personalized treatment plan which I’ll share once we’ve started on them. A lot of you guys were interested about Centro Holistico when I posted about it on my stories so I’m sharing their service along with their corresponding rates.
Come Saturday I did Ultra Lagree for the first time. It’s like Pilates on steriods and I enjoyed the class. Instead of counting reps 8, 10 or 12, it’s a AMRAP (as many reps as possible) per minute with counts of 4 in and 4 out. Think slow controlled movements of sets you need to do for a minute. Ultra Large is now open and they have an ongoing promo if you wanna try it. Visit https://ultralagree.ph
Ended the week by enjoying a movie date with these two. We had fun watching Detective Pikachu but as usual, I cried on the semi-drama scenes huhuhu. Week 20 you were emotionally draining but I guess I need you to teach me a lesson. Looking forward to another week.
