Back to reality after more than a week of being away. While I do love to travel, I’m the type who get anxious about the things waiting for me when I get home. Since we don’t have a helper, I know I’ll be busy catching up with the chores I need to do. I know this is one of the things that I constantly think about as a homemaker.
The first thing I did the moment we arrived was to clean the floors. I usually move around the furnitures and clear everything so I can easily swipe the floor. Here’s a look at how messy ordinary daily life is fraaaaands. Heehee.
Another thing I like to do is to unpack right away. I know it’s not just me (I did a poll on my Instagram when I posted this photo on my stories and a lot of you guys voted YES to unpacking right away) who has this kind of habit. It gives me a sense of accomplishment putting things back were they belong in my home. Plus, I also don’t like having too much laundry so doing it as soon as we get home is a must for me!
Back to the daily grind means finding time to workout too which has been extra hard for me this summer because the kids are with me everyday.
Speaking of here they are, my dates at Ayumi as I get my lashes retouched, they’re having a foot massage.
In between doing chores & catching up with work, I hangout with my kids. Melon for merienda is always a good idea!
This cutie went straight to basketball camp as soon as we got home. Literally he just changed and off he went to training.
And on days when I bring him to training, we get home just in time for dinner. But since we have no helper, I have to prepare it myself. Here’s one– chicken nuggets and sautéed veggies.
You’d think a simple meal such as chicken nuggets & sautéed veggies doesn’t make this much mess in the kitchen? I wish! But to be honest, I never really disliked washing the dishes. In fact, it’s one of the things I find therapeutic.
Washing the dishes is one of the things I don’t worry about. Pretty confident in this department simply because I use products like Joy to make sure there’s #zeroworries. This homemaker never gets stressed with the load of dishes I need to clean, because Joy (a big bottle as seen in the photo) literally lets me wash dishes for week. I think the key to enjoying doing chores is finding products that help you be an efficient homemaker. And when you have these products in your home, you get things done if not faster then definitely easily. I guess this is one the many answers I can give to those who ask me how I manage to do it all–be a hands on mom, a homemaker with no helper, a blogger and even a fitness enthusiast.
With all the things I need to do and all the activities I need to bring my kids to, I’m just happy I still manage to get things done. I’ve got #zeroworries and clean dishes simply because I there’s Joy in our home.
