If I were to describe my uniform it would have to be dresses, jeans and tank tops or flowy tops. I’ve been wearing tank tops ever since I can remember because for one, it’s so easy to wear and pair. Two, it makes me feel some kinda sexy knowing I can pull it off, even though at times they expose my flabs. Yes, we have a love-hate relationship heehee. Lastly, it’s so easy to breastfeed wearing it.
Quick tip: Get those lycra stretch ones because they hug your body and never loses it shape over time. I love Cotton On, Forever 21 and Zara’s as theirs are of good quality. Those cotton ones kasi that have texture tend to lose their shape after only a few wash, but on the plus side, it doesn’t hug your body so less chance of flab exposure. Heehee.
Anyway, here’s an outfit post showing how you can accessorize or create two different looks wearing the same tank top and pair of jeans. All you have to do is add a little element that can make the simple but not boring tank +jeans combo into a stand out outfit without putting too much effort.
First, you layer it with a blazer. It could also be a cardigan or a jacket. You can wear any other piece of clothing that can serve as a topper, as it adds depth (yes, deep) to your layering.
I love that this look is such a classic and gives off a polished but effortless look.
Second is all about adding a little flair. Utilize your neck by adding a pop of color with a scarf or a statement neck piece. In this case, what I’m wearing serves both.
I’m loving this loop scarf. You can wear this is more ways than one.
You can never go wrong with a skin tone colored shoes. Especially a heeled one as it makes you look taller and gives a hint of sexiness.
Ugatan portion! Eeeep. #selfjudges LOL
