I can’t remember the last time I wore boots. I used to own a pair of grey leatherette boots from Zara but it never got to see the light of day. It was just stored as I struggle to find the right time to wear it until I couldn’t anymore ‘coz it deteriorated over time. The only boots I own are my trusty Dr. Marten’s boots which I haven’t worn in two years.
Over the holidays I was in search for a pair of boots but never found one that I really like. Up until early this month when I was invited to check out the newest store of Vionic in Uptown Mall BGC where I found the perfect pair of boots!
You’ve probably read about Vionic before when I featured my very first pair HERE. Vionic brings together science and style, combining innovative biomechanics with the most coveted trends. With a heritage in foot health and a team of experts behind the brand, Vionic brings a fresh perspective to supportive footwear. The brand offers biomechanics footbed that helps support one from the ground up and each Vionic pair has firm yet flexible midsole to ensure balance and a contoured footbed for support.

I am not the type who would wear anything other than a comfy ballet flats or sneakers whenever we’re out exploring a city. But during our Hong Kong trip two weeks ago, I decided to test my Vionic boots to see if it’s really THAT comfortable. I was in all honesty expecting my feet would hurt after walking around the airport waiting for our flight but to my surprise my feet were okay, in fact they’ve never felt more comfortable elevated three inches high.
These Vionic boots have elevated support. It has an amazing arch support that hugs one’s foot curve, a heel seat for added stability and ball-of-foot cushion too for added comfort. I never thought I’d last walking around Tsim Sha Tsui and Ocean Park in heels!
It was chilly cold in Hong Kong and I was freezing like a popsicle but my kids were fine. In fact, they enjoyed the cold weather. That was my smile-and-pose-dali-because-I’m-dying-inside shot! Hahaha.
Whether it’s a smooth surface or cobbled stones my feet were a-OK! Sobrang na-enjoy ko mag lakad guuuuys (I enjoyed walking) normally I would complain of tired feet but during this trip I had happy feet. 🙂
I would really recommend this pair to those who love to travel wearing boots but hate the achy feet it gives. This pair of Vionic Upton is da bomb! I clocked in 18,000 steps that day. EIGHTEEN THOUSAND STEPS GUYS!
Now I cannot wait to wear this pair again. Kaso it already feels like summer here in Manila. Paano na ang pormang boots ko?! Hahahuhu. These boots are really made for walking and I’m glad I found them. Now I want to get the brown pair too!

[…] Something as basic as a cami under a blazer jacket worn with a printed skirt paired with ankle boots makes a chic rainy day outfit. Raved about how super comfy this pair is. I’ve walked around Disneyland and Ocean Park wearing this. Read more about it HERE. […]
