Celebrated actress, TV host, recording artist, endorser, author, pursuer of dreams, and all-around media darling: Anne Curtis sure has a lot of feathers in her cap, and she recently added another one as she finally launched her very own makeup line, blk cosmetics.
Why blk cosmetics? It stands for the color black—something timeless, elegant, and uncomplicated, which is what founders of the brand Anne Curtis-Smith and Jacqe Yuengtian Gutierrez want to be. Their goal is to keep things simple. Which is why they focused on only five products– powder foundation, contour/blush/highlight palette, eyebrow, eyeliner and lipstick.

I’m all for liquid liners. In fact, I barely put eyeshadow because I’m all set with a good liner. blk long-lasting liquid liner sure is pigmented but I wish it dries faster. As you can see on the swatches I did, it ran on the creases of my hand. Though once it dries, it stays put naman. You’ll get to see how it is on my eyes at the latter part of this post.

How gorgeous is this Flushed palette? I like how it’s pigmented and not as powdery when applied. It blends easily too!

Look at how the matte powder works on me. Galing! As for the eyeliner, it didn’t run when I applied it on my eyes. Also love the contour/highlight/blush palette in Flushed on me. It’s currently my go-to palette! Definiltey blk is all about #uncomplicatedbeauty
