For today’s recipe I’d like to share with you all one of my favorite dishes: Sinigang na bangus (milkfish tamarind soup).

l-r: 1 pack bangus (milkfish), string beans, labanos (raddish), 2 pcs. tomatoes, 1 medium size onion, 1 tablespoon ginger, siling pansigang (green chili),1 pack sinigang mix.
Cut the vegetable into serving pieces, how many vegetable you put is really up to you as well as for the milkfish.

My 3 basic sinigang vegetables: sitar (string beans), labanos (raddish) and kangkong (swamp cabbage)
You can also add on gabi (taro), talong (eggplant) in your sinigang but since I don’t eat taro & eggplant immersed in tamarind soup, I’ll just stick to my three vegetables cited above.
3 Easy Peasy steps:

Remove from heat and add kangkong and siling pansigang, leave it for 5 minutes, season w/ salt to taste.
