I suggest you pair your high waits shorts with a flowy top rather than a body hugging one, that way there’s balance between the upper & lower portion of your body. Also it’s better if you pair it with heels (preferably wedge) so that you’ll look taller, best for petite ladies who’d want to wear high waist shorts/skirt so that they look more elongated.
