First post for the New Year is brought to us by the key piece of this outfitey post: gold Dr. Marten’s boots.
Before I post all our Singapore adventures, allow me to do an outfitey post shot in Singapore. I decided to break in my gold DMs during our trip and so far it did caught attention from people who were also wearing a unique pair of DMs, too bad I wasn’t able to take pictures of them.
Color blocking.
Print on plain always makes an outfit stand out.
Color contrast.
Pair the golden shoes with floral & flirty colors to give the look some oomph.
The gold DMs need to stand out so minimal accessories is required.

Hi Britt! I actually got them from my sister. Do try to check out Dr. Marten’s in HK. There are tons of metallic DMs there, I even saw a silver and gold one (the shiny one) Hope you find one! 🙂
