Today’s Outfitey: Espadrilles

This outftey post is brought to us by my friendship Ms. C (as I fondly call her). I’ve known her via Twitter and after a few conversations, we hit it off. It is indeed true that birds with the same feather like the same weather! eeerrr I mean fly together! LOL

Living in the beautiful state of California, C who is a devoted wife and mother of two awesome kids still manages to look great despite her busy schedule (you should tweet her up to know her secrets! 😉 ). Her style is very laid back relaxed but well-put together. I think we both agree that less is more (right C?) and that it pays to make even a little effort in putting your outfitey together to look good and feel good,thus benefiting not only yourself but your family as well. You know what they say, a happy wife (and mom too) makes a happy life.

Anyway, the key piece for today’s outfitey is espadrilles. I don’t think espadrilles come and go in the fashion industry, I think their staple shoes, one that is classy and never gets out of style. For moms, our priority is always comfort above everything else and being able to incorporate style in it is just a bonus.

I love how a simple look can be transformed into a vibrant one! Again as I always say, perk up your outfitey with colors! If you feel you’re not ready for an all-out color blocking, start with your feet or hands. Wear shoes or carry a bag that has a stand out color,contrary to your clothes. It can just perk up your look and once your look is all giddy, you’ll eventually find yourself being perky & happy as well. You know what they say, you are what you eat and I believe you are what you wear as well. 🙂 (okay this post definitely has a lot of sayings! LOL)
