If there’s one shoe that I’m not really a fan of, it would have to be clogs. Yes. It’s not that I hate this kind of shoe, it’s just that I haven’t found the perfect pair of clogs YET.
If you ask me, this is the only kind of clogs I know:
The traditional clogs inspired by the Dutch clogs.
And I cannot bring myself to wear this kind of shoes. Why? because it reminds me so much of my grand mother’s bakya (wooden shoes, like clogs) and I feel that only chefs have the right to wear Crocs-like clogs.
But then again I saw these modern looking one by Jeffrey Campbell and fell in love.
Aaah clogs! Who knew you could be loved?! So when I saw one that’s similarly pretty, I wasn’t able to help myself and bought it.
Isn’t she pretty? Yes, yes she is! Here’s her first appearance
For shoes that need to be seen, don’t hide them by wearing them with pants. Instead pair them with a simple dress or a cropped pants and plain top so that the shoes can stand out.
