Tiger Mom

Before you think ahead and assume I’m a tiger mom let me just say that this is an outfitey post. But if you want my advice when it comes to parenting, I would simply tell you to follow your instincts. While it is easy to give comments and opinions about the misbehaviors of other children, I say don’t. Especially if you don’t have one yourself. It’s always different with each family and yes, to each his own. Anywaaaaay, I’m starting to get off topic here. The reason why I entitled this post as such is because of how I’ve been liking animal prints lately and have a few pieces already (but I still want more!). I think animal prints will forever be a staple, so you should invest on a few key pieces too.

I find myself wearing shorts and dresses even more after giving birth. I feel like jeans and pants don’t fit nicely on me anymore; I know that it’s just me. But being a mom slash driver slash yaya for my lil’ Ms. GJG, wearing comfortable clothes is now my topmost concern when dressing up. Wearing something where I can run errands and still look decent enough for an impromptu meeting should always work.

To make your shorts+ shirt outfitey work, pair it with a wedge or standout shoesay.

Heels paired with shorts= legs, legs, legs! LOL

Remember, since you’re already wearing something short pair it with a complimenting top and avoid tank tops as you may look to casual (read: pambahay or beach). Try pairing it with layered, ruffled, loose,asymmetrical,  long sleeves,  or even a plain but well-fitted V neck shirt.
