Michael Jackson – Human Nature
Sorry I know it’s so obvious but every time I see Human Nature products, I just can’t help but sing this song.
Speaking of human nature, remember the entry I posted last month about suggesting to one of our local hotels to use locally made products? Just to be fair as the petitioner, I must experience the products first hand and give it a feedback so to prove that it can level with other global brands or maybe even better and to fulfill my role as one. Yes, Human Nature was one of the brands that I suggested in the said post.
So you’re all probably wondering what product I tried and tested so here they are.
Here’s an excerpt from Human Nature’s website.
Gandang Kalikasan, Inc., the company that brings you the Human Nature range of natural beauty products is founded on three core principles of being PRO-PHILIPPINES, PRO-POOR, & PRO-ENVIRONMENT.
is about loving the Philippines, loving the environment and loving our families as we provide only the safest and purest world-class ingredients for them. These are effective AND affordable organic and natural personal care products that feel as good on your skin as they do in your heart. We hope that you will find a sense of peace and purpose knowing that your everyday choices have a positive impact on the poor, our country and our planet.
Don’t you just love locally (Philippine) made products? I know I do. It’s about time we all do and support such brands. Not only are we helping our fellow countrymen but we’re also taking part in making our country self-sustaining, at least a step towards getting there.
The sunflower beauty oil is actually a good product. It is said to help women (and men too) with 15 common beauty problems (for a full list checkout http://humanheartnature.com), in a nutshell it mainly helps lighten and soften the skin. I for one use it to soften my skin particularly my problem areas, you know knees, elbows and heels. What I like most about this product is that it feels like a moisturizer rather than an oil. Its got enough greasing action to help dry skin. I love applying this alternately with my lotion right after a hot shower. My skin’s pores are open perfect for absorbing the oil just enough to moisturize and not make me look like I’m ready to be fried, LOL.
As for the balancing facial wash orange & elemi with bamboo scrubs, can I just say I love the smell? Minty refreshing smell is just something surprising for a facial wash (although the peppermint scent came close though and okay I love the color green right). I have only learned that this facial wash is intended for normal to oily skin. Apparently, I have dry skin but after religiously applying moisturizer for months now I think my skin has somewhat become “normal”. What I like about this facial wash is that despite having bamboo scrubs (which is unconventional compared to bead scrubs), it really doesn’t dry up your skin. It actually leaves skin a bit moisturized that even if you forget to apply moisturizer you really wouldn’t mind.
If you’re tired of using alcohol or gel sanitizers then this citrus burst spray sanitizer is for you. I’m no fan of the citrus smell in general mainly because I get really dizzy upon smelling them but for this all natural sanitizer, I like it. Its citrus scent is just light and not that of lemon or orange car fresheners plus its not sticky too.
The bubbly gum kid’s sanitizer is now Gabbie’s favorite. Well, aside from her bottle of alcohol spray that she uses at home, this bubbly gum sanitizer is perfect whenever we’re out of the house. She loves the smell of bubble gum. I’ve also noticed it doesn’t dry her hands as much as alcohol nor it doesn’t make her hands sticky like when she uses the gel type sanitizers.
My overall experience with Human Nature’s products is great that I can confidently suggest and recommend them to friends and family. Hey, I even suggested it be used by a local hotel remember? and I’d do it again now that I’ve experienced using them.
Now I’m quite conscious when it comes to hair products so I might check out their strengthening shampoo and conditioner next time. I also might get their kid’s shampoo and baby wash for Gabbie to try. I’ll update you guys once I do.
For now, visit The Human Nature’s Website for more product details, prices and dealership opportunities.
That’s all!
