No summer is complete without a trip to the beach. And no beach trip is complete without some suits to lounge, swim and chill in.
Sharing one of the suits my daughter & I wore when we spent our Holy Week in Coron, Palawan.
This lil’ cutie doesn’t like getting her photos taken as much as she used to. Huhuhuhu. She’s growing up so fast– I am both excited & sad it’s happening!
We’re not really conservative when it comes to what type of swimsuits our daughter wears. We really don’t mind her wearing a bikini or a two-piece especially when we’re at the beach or by the pool. After all, that’s what we ladies wear naman.
I wish this suit comes in my size!
So a friend of mine noticed I’ve been posting swimsuits/bikini photos lately. Well to be honest I have the brands that have been generous enough to give me suits to blame thank for. Heehee. Also, I guess I’m more comfortable now in my own skin compared to a few months, weeks or years ago probably because I’ve been working hard & working out. I’m now in the stage of my life where I’m too old to worry about what people say because my plate is full– I’m focused more on myself and my family that I literally have no time to spare.
It’s weird how I’ve been more forgiving of myself and my body now that I’m a mom of two compared to when I was single and young. I guess time, experience and maturity can really shift the way you think. If you follow me on Instagram you’ve probably seen my posts where I share my fitness journey. I share it to track my progress and hopefully inspire other people that if you really want something, there’s just no excuse not work hard for it.
I’m happiest when I can feel the sand in my toes, the sun shine on my face and the wind blow my hair.
She is her mother’s daughter. Heehee. We looooove our suits! Though it’s not technically matchy, I like how it compliments each other–print and plain, conservative and chic.
You can see in lil’ Ms. JG’s smile that she’s no longer having fun after a few minutes of posing under the summer heat. Heehee. Sorry na hun!

I don’t see anything wrong with girls wearing bikinis. You both look great!
