I’m no longer a STRIP: Ministry of Waxing virgin! I finally had the chance to visit their newest branch at SM Mega Fashion Hall over the holidays.
STRIP: Ministry of Waxing was born in Singapore at a time when the local wax culture was, shall we say, medieval. You know, those dodgy waxing studios dishing out unhygienic and painful waxes that left one unable to walk in a straight line. But their founder Cynthia Chua, the original smooth operator, believed that there was a place for body culture thats practiced safely, hygienically and painlessly. So, she set about seeding the beginnings of a wax revolution. Selflessly, she trialed and tested new techniques and experimented with new waxes. Eventually, she created a brand new set of Brazilian waxing techniques that was significantly less painful and embarrassing.
I went to STRIP: Ministry of Waxing to try their wax and polish treatment. It’s a Brazilian Wax and Brazilian Facial.
Better latex than never. Therapists are required to wear gloves and promises to finsih waxing in 30 minutes.
I proceeded to my treatment room and was surprised with the cute plush toys!
For your reference and for those who are still afraid to go bare. Here’s a kyooooot and good illustration of their Brazilian services.
The hard wax has three different scents/flavors but because it was during the holidays that I went, I tried their limited edition one, the cranberry, to really feel the Christmas spirit. Hihihihi.
Good hygiene guaranteed. No double-dipping and each customer gets his/her sealed set of spatula.
My low tolerance for pain body was anticipating how painful it would be again after months of not being bare down there. Surprisingly, it took only a few pulls matched with a few eeeeehhhs & aaaaahhhhs from me. True enough the session proved to be quick and lasted under 30 minutes. So after the Brazilian All Out I did, I transferred to another room to have my Brazillian Facial done.
What exactly is a Brazilian Facial?
It is an innovative procedure that provides non-invasive exfoliation while delivering skin type specific pharmaceutical grade topical solution to treat concerns such as dehydration, dull skin, acne and in-grown hair.
Here’s the machine that “polishes” whatever part of your body you want to have a “facial”. Who needs to have a Brazilian Facial you ask? It’s perfect for those with problematic skin areas (mostly intimate) but often neglect body parts. Not only is it for the intimate area, it’s also for kneecaps, underarms, elbows, buttock line, eyes and lips.
Choose among Cleanse, Hydro or Light.
Acne and/or in-grown hair go for Brazilian Facial Cleanse
Dehydrated skin go for Brazilian Facial Hydro
Dull skin go for Brazilian Facial Light
I went for a Brazilian Facial Hydro from my intimate area. It’s non-invasive so it feels just like a massage. The suction & water pressure felt just right so it’s totally painless. Lavett!
That’s the by product of the Brazilian Facial Hydro treatment. My dull, dehydrated skin was stripped off of dead skin cells. It was cleansed and hydrated, making my skin’s intimate area softer & more supple.
Overall, I had a pleasant experience at STRIP: Ministry of Waxing. So much so that I might come back again for my next Brazilian wax & polish. 😉
Here I was all smiles with Jenny, STRIP: Ministy of Waxing Virgin! Ahihihihi. Guuuurl, gusto kita i-wax ng bonggang bongga!
