This Singapore post is all about food. Sharing with you all some of the places we’ve tried over our trip which includes a restaurant in Chinatown, the food court of ION Orchard mall and our New Year’s Eve dinner at Clark Quay.
Warning: This is a photo heavy post, enjoy!
First stop, Chinatown.
The restaurant is located right in the middle of the strip of Chinatown. You wouldn’t miss it because of the number of people who dine there, plus the lingering aroma of the food will surely point you to that direction.
This dish is one of their specialties so we tried it and I fell in love with it. So yummy, the honey flavor infused with a little bit of saltiness overflowing with crunchiness definitely got me. I believe this is a dish best matched with a beer or cocktail but because we didn’t drink that night, we satisfied ourselves by pairing this dish with rice instead.
The dish that Gabbie loved. Yes, she’s a vegetable fan and broccoli being one of her favorites made this dish a best seller (well at least for her). Nothing usual but taste good.
Their Cereal Prawns were delicious but not as flavorful as I thought it should be. Although the prawns were big, not enough flavor seeped into the meat and the oats didn’t have much flavor to compensate for the prawns.
The fish fillet was nothing out of the ordinary, but it was good and matched well with the sweet & sour sauce.
Now our next stop is the food court of Ion Orchard Mall.
So nice how they made the food court more appealing by changing its interiors. Look at how posh the St. Louis inspired ghost chairs, classic and modern chandeliers.
Now for some food porn.
Now off to Clark Quay.
But since we were with Gabbie, we decided to dine inside the restaurant instead.
While waiting for our food, Gabbie had tons of wackiness in store waiting to be shared.
There you go, hope you enjoyed the food porn post.
