Signature Set Menu At Jasmine, New World Makati Hotel

I have to say I agree with Virginia. I am someone who loves to eat. So when Patty of Nonstopbabble initiated a dinner for SoMoms through her friend Nini who’s the Director of Communications of New World Makati, aba aba aba kahit 7 pm antokyo Japan (sleepy) na ko eh gorabells!

We had an intimate dinner in one of Jasmine’s private rooms.

The room where we were can seat up to 15 people.

A console table where there’s a functional TV that you can use to connect your laptop to view presentations or even to watch your downloaded TV series (Game Of Thrones, New Girl, Modern Family ganyan levelz) while having lunch or dinner.

There’s also a bathroom inside the private room, easier to excuse yourself as you won’t miss much of the chikahan or presentation.

We got to taste Jasmine’s latest set menu. There are four signature sets of Cantonse dishes to choose from. All designed and prepared by Chef Wong Kam On and his team. Partake of Jasmine’s signature set menus complete with appetizers, a variety of main dishes, dessert and tea. Signature sets are priced from 750+ php per person to 1450+ php per person.

Chinese sushi, golden scallops, Wagyu beef roll with tropical fruits.

Braised seafood soup with bamboo shoots and conpoy.

Steamed king prawns, garlic.

Fried rice, diced chicken, Chinese sausage.

Beef short ribs, black pepper sauce.

Chilled mango cream, sago.

Jasmine tea.

Chef Wong & Wong paid us a visit during our dinner.

What’s my verdict on the dishes? OMG. All were so delicious. I couldn’t pick a favorite! Each dish gave an authentic Cantonese feel and flavor, definitely a must try. Here’s Jasmine, New World Makati’s signature set menus which are served plated.
