Babies are love. Every time I go to SM Department Store to buy my kids clothes, I always stop and look at the babies section just because the clothes are always adorable. Having a baby girl myself, I know how it feels like to swoon over these tiny clothes and have the urge to buy everything as I just can’t get enough chic clothes and accessories. Most pregnant women I know want to have a baby girl, one of which is Shen. Shen (who’s a beauty blogger) and I met her during a shoot we did together years ago, since then, we’ve been seeing each other during events and I would remember her saying how much she’s so ready to have a baby of her own. Then, few months after our last conversation, she was blessed to carry a baby girl! Wow. The universe and God have conspired to grant her wish. Now she’s 7 months on her way and almost near the finish line. Aptly, she had a baby shower hosted by SM Babies and she invited a handful of bloggers, myself included.

For a baby boy, cool shoes and polo shirts are a must in every lil’ man’s wardrobe.
Shen’s pretty much excited and have been anticipating the arrival of her princess Camilla Claudette.
A baby shower wouldn’t be complete without some games! First up, charades! NKKLK, ako talaga yun vinolunteer nila for group 1 while Earth represented group 2. 
We have to act out essential things a baby needs. Most were easy but some were hard.

My team mates were quick and was able to guess all. The toughest one I had to act out was romper. Good thing, my team consists of moms, beauty & fashion bloggers. Ayan, Alyssa guessed it kaya she was clapping in delight, also coz we won!
The next game was to name all things one can find in a diaper bag. The last one standing wins! Diaper, baby wipes, burp cloth, bib, socks, shoes, thermometer, dropper, trash bag, Eco bag, shorts, shirt, bottles, milk, pacifier, spoon, diaper rash cream, mittens, hat, and so much more. The last woman standing was Ro of Animetric.me. Galing!
Then the following game, we were asked to name as many baby things that start with the letter S for Shen and C for Camilla Claudette. Cloth diaper, clothes pin, clothes line, clothes rack, cabinet, cup, carrier, cap, cotton, socks, shoes, sneakers, skirts, shorts, skorts, sando, sippy cup, slippers, are just some of the things I wrote down. Luckily, I won! Yay!
The last game was to put up an outfit for a baby. That includes assembling a cloth diaper (the old school lampin ha). It was a matter of who finishes first and the winner was Tin Dychiao.

The last part of the shower was the opening of the gifts. We had fun picking out our gift as much as Shen had fun opening them.
