I received three of the latest products of TonyMoly last month. It was only now that I had the time to really review one of it. I’ve been familiar with the brand but I haven’t really explored it as much. Although I’ve used one of their products before- Tony Moly Egg Pore Black Head Out Oil Gel, I’m excited to try something new from the brand.
My Little Pet Eye Patch, Clean Dew Foam Cleanser Series (Acerola- Vigorous & Healthy for dry skin) and Luminous Baby Aura CC Balm. I honestly can’t tell much about the eye mask and the foam cleanser as I didn’t find anything different after using the products apart from them being sweet smelling and gentle on my skin. So I’ll focus my review on Tony Moly Luminous Baby Aura CC Balm instead.
Tony Moly Luminous Baby Aura CC Balm P948
The Luminous Baby Aura CC Balm contains the 8-in-1 benefits of CC cream in one cute pact. It’s said to be a primer, moisture cream, bb cream among others. It contains natural avocado peptide which protects the skin from anti-oxidation. The beige swirl is the CC cream, while the white swirl is the moisturizer. To use, puff gently on the face and lightly tap with the fingers to even out.
Tony Moly Luminous Baby Aura CC Balm in 01
I’m not really a fan of pink but I find the packaging cute and unusual from other CC products. It comes in a compact mirror with sponge for easy application. What had me was the word “aura” meaning an invisible emanation. Of course I want to achieve a luminous aura so this what really got me.
The swirly balm is creamy and it blends together as soon as you swipe it. I swirled Tony Moly Luminous Baby Aura CC balm thrice using my pointy finger and and swatched it on my hand.
The top is the first swipe and the bottom is the second one. The creamy texture makes the CC balm thicker than the usual CC creams but despite this, blending it was easy.
The 01 shade was a tad bit light on me, looking at the swatch on my hand. But when I tried it on my face, it seemed to blend pretty okay.
What I like about Tony Moly Baby Aura CC Cream is that it gives a dewy effect all thanks to the moisturising ingredient. I like that it has covered most of my skin’s imperfections too. I wish that it comes in a darker shade and has a more foundation coverage so it can greatly conceal my pimple marks, no longer prompting me to wear any concealers. I’d recommend this though to girls who want to achieve that dewy effect at the same time have that certain aura of freshness. This would work well with fair-skinned women who would want to have an even skin tone and that “no make up but fresh” look.
