Ever since I started trying to eat healthy I’ve been on the lookout for shops, restaurants & places where I can get my hands on healthy munchies. Thankfully Real Food opened their second store located in BGC.
I was supposed to go with my Roomie Nikki but she couldn’t make it so I ended up going by myself, which I was kinda afraid of–knowing myself I tend to buy everything that catches my eye. Anyhow, here’s a look at Real Food in BGC.
Real Food is located at ICON Showroom 5th Ave. cor 25th St. Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
They pretty much have everything you need from fresh produce, to frozen meat, to grains even desserts & the like.
They have organic veggies as well.
Plus they have grains & nuts that you can buy in bulk. Pro tip: bring a storage container like a mason jar or recycle container.
Some of the meat brands are BioHogs, Butchery, Kitayama, Pamora, Down To Earth, and Backyard Farms.
Pantry items like sauces, dips, dressings, butter, and the like are also available from brands like 7 Grains Pantry, Real Food, SOL (Seeds of Life), Healthy Choice, Down To Earth, Hinelaban Farms, Pili & Pino, Bragg, Pinkie’s Farm, Take Root, The Real Happy Cow, Honesty Junk, Founding Farmers, etc.
Here are more products available at Real Food.
By far one of my favorite finds at Real Food, Coco Heaven’s Coconut Wraps. I love wraps but unfortunately I am gluten intolerant so I had to find an alternative and this coconut wrap is the best! It’s low carb, vegan, non-GMO & has no added salt & sugar! A pack is Php 325.
Another good find are these reusable food containers. These Stasher silicon bags can be used to freeze food, sous vide meat or seafood, as well as storing snacks–the most I’ve been using it since I love snacking and am afraid of being hangry on the road. The Eco Home Beeswax Food Wrap is perfect for leftover finger food or sandwiches. This one retails for Php 600 but it comes in 3 sizes: small, medium & large.
I had to control myself not to shop for more because there’s not enough room in our pantry to hold everything. I’m definitely going back for some frozen meat, organic veggies and of course some treats too like the SuperScoops ice cream! I’m gonna make sure I bring with me an insulated bag & more eco bags next time. 🙂
Got any other grocer shops that’s worth checking out? Let me know please!
