Spectrum Sunday Brunch is back with a feel of the western high-life! Starting February 7 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Families can indulge in a bounty of barbecued delights, specially dished-up for the day. There’s an assortment of fresh-off-the-grill premium steaks, barbecued ribs, fresh seafood, corn on the cob or roasted vegetable, to name a few.
As usual, I’ll let the photos do the talking. 😉
Wild, wild, west for lunch?
My lil’ Mr. JG is so thrilled to go all out cowboy during lunch!
You must try their foie gras.
Such a sucker for bread!
Pizza, taco and pasta station.
Fresh pastas for your choosing.
Also a must-try is the taco! You can create your own or opt for the ready made. Either is good!
There’s always the staple carving station…
…and dimsum station.
You can also have your meat grilled the way you like it and have them served to your table.
Hello, lechon!
I ordered Spinach Ravioli & liked how it was al dente. Chewy & creamy, just the way I like it.
No Spectrum Sunday Brunch is complete without having their lamb. Instead of topping it with mint jelly, salt & pepper, I topped it with bacon & bourbon jam from the dessert station and it tasted heavenly! Extra rice, please!
The part I always look forward to at Spectrum is the dessert spread. The whimsical cowboy-inspired sweets and pastries deck buffet is as usual too pretty it warrants a few photos.
Spot the cute barn house among other cute and interesting things on the dessert spread.
That ol’ familiar apple pie, s’mores and oink lollipop are all good! If you follow me on Snapchat (gojackiego) you would’ve seen how I ate my way to the dessert table. Heehee.
Chocolates, macarons and chocolate bacon cake! Well, if you’re a dessert person like me, everything is must try!
Desserts of milk & cheese for those who aren’t fans of chocolate.
Ricotta donuts with Truffle Honey! It’s so good you must, I repeat you must have one, two or a few of this! For bacon lovers like me, don’t miss out on bacon macarons and biscotti with bacon & bourbon jam.
There’s also candied bacon, a few other pastries and cakes to try! This is just the most presentable dessert plate I have, the rest of my plates were too much of a delicious mess to post. Heehee.
While the moms and dads enjoy the sumptuous food, kids also get to enjoy an array of activities outdoor, starting off with the Ranch Fun Station that serves popcorn, corn on the cob and fries for all kids and kids at heart.
A Sunday tradition at Spectrum, the brunch is an avenue for rousing fun for kids as well. Children can unleash their inner cowboys at the separate kid’s play area. Imaginations will fly as the little ones paint the town with games, movies, and activities inspired by the wild-west.
My lil’ JGs with The Pickiest Eater and Rina’s Rainbow’s very own, baby Rain are your cowboy crew goals! 😉
