Homegrown make up brand Happy Skin collaborated with one of the countries well-known glossies, Preview, to give us ladies two lovely shades of Shut Up & Kiss Me lippies to fall in love with.

What’s great about these two new limited edition shades is that they’re matte. Yup. Matte is back and they came back chic for us to adore.
To celebrate the Philippines’ style bible, Preview’s 20th anniversary, the print glossy collaborated with cult-favorite makeup brand Happy Skin and released two matte lippies named Too Cool and Hot Stuff.
I was one of the lucky ladies who got first dibs of these matte Shut Up & Kiss Me lippies. While most women are afraid of matte lippies, Happy Skin’s co-founder Rissa assures us that #PreviewxHappySkin lippies have the perfect balance between the matte finish and moisture level, without compromising color payoff and lip hydration. The secret, as what the women behind Happy Skin- Jacqe and Rissa discovered, was the type of butter used in the formulation- Cupuaçu Butter. It offers unrivalled hydration, making #PreviewxHappySkin the most moisturing matte lippie one can try. The not-s0-secret Cupuaçu Butter allows lips to effectively hydrate and plump. It is also known for its ability to absorb damaging UVA/UVB rays, so it offers natural sun protection for the lips, where the skin is the thinest. Cool right?
Too Cool is a trendy, wearable nude that Pauline Juan, editor-in-chief of Preview, envisioned would look fantastic when paired with smoky eyes or winged liner, but could still be worn on its own.
Hot Stuff is a wine-red shade that gives a quiet elegance to the classic red. It’s a little more sophisticated and more toned down.
Too Cool & Hot Stuff swatches, both matte lippies glides smoothly on the skin. I tried it on my lips and it gave a velvety feel after a swipe. I think I’m in love.
