Couldn’t think of a creative title for this post except that this was what I wore during the Pixi Lauch! Well, apart from this, florals and pinks remind me of fairies which is like the same thing as pixies. Which is also known as diwata so keri na din. Diwata wannabeeeee.
Another no brainer outfit that’s easy to wear on a casual day out.
So obvious how much I love wearing dresses no? The good: It is easy to wear and can work from day to night. The bad: It is distinctive and easy to recall if you wear it many times over, especially if the dress has a unique print.
Floral print, just like houndstooth is always a staple. BUT, it would depend on the print itself and cut of fabric. Florals are always nice when worn during summer as it tends to give off a refreshing air on your look. Despite the sweltering heat, wearing floral prints can make you look fresh and clean.
Always aim for light fabrics as humid isn’t forgiving when it comes to thick fabrics and can just cause you to feel uncomfortable, which is a no-no. After all, we dress not only to impress but to be able to express ourselves and at the same time be comfortable too.
Love the watercolor floral print as it gives the dress more fluidity (naks) and makes it more feminine.
The only thing I don’t like about this dress is how the inner lining tends to show. See the white fabric? Or maybe because I keep on pacing and moving that the fabric gets flimsy. Malikot kasi akong nilalang.
Summer time calls for bright nails!
