The first time I encountered Pink Sugar cosmetics, I was impressed because for a local and affordable brand, they have promising products. I was particularly drawn to their concealer–it has pretty good coverage for Php 299/tube– and their matte liquid lipsticks which I raved about HERE.
The brand didn’t stop there and has plans of being a go-to make up brand for Filipinas. So much so that they collaborated with one of the top beauty blogs here in the Philippines, Project Vanity and came up with a line of matte lippie crayons.
You know I can’t resist matte lippies especially if they’re by a fellow blogger! 😉
Liz, the lady behind Project Vanity did the illustration of the lips on the box. You can read the tell all story of this collaboration HERE.
The names of Pink Sugar x Project Vanity matte crayon lippies are too cute! They are in fact those little white lies we women like to say. Aminin!

Woke Up Like This is a muted pink “my lips but better” (MLBB) shade that is designed to look flattering on all skin tones. It’s a versatile color that can be worn to an important work presentation or to a first date! Love At First Swipe is a peachy cocoa, a fresh take on the brown lip trend. It’s dramatic yet wearable for everyday. Ready In Five is a brightening perky pink that’s bound to cheer you up even in the gloomiest of days; it’s based on the Project Vanity pink logo! Nothing To Wear, a sexy deep plum, is set to be a new staple at parties formal or high-octane.

I like all the four shades for each one gives a certain character on my lips. But I’m drawn to wearing Woke Up Like This on a daily basis because it gives just the perfect natural color on my lips.
Wearing Woke Up Like This. See how natural it looks on me? I also like that it’s matte but non-drying and works on all skin tones. Possibly one of the best I’ve tried so far. Congratulations again Liz, Project Vanity and Pink Sugar!
