After a few failed attempts in finding an extra pair of hands to help me, I have finally found a yaya. Hoooooraaaay! Almost a year of being helpless and almost losing my mind on how I can do everything by myself, I finally found a good fit to our small household. We love her as she is very gentle and loving to our children. She seldom does household chores nor does she cook (as I don’t really want to burn her out). She solely focuses on taking care of lil’ Mr. GJG and we’re really hoping she’ll stay, if not forever (as I know she has other plans too) at least just long enough for me to manage everything by myself again. Heehee.
Anyway, during our correspondence while she was still in the province, one of the questions she asked me was if she were to wear a uniform. I told her that it wasn’t mandatory but it would be better if she can. For us, she would be more comfortable chasing and running after our lil’ Mr. GJG wearing a uniform because she won’t be conscious getting a wardrobe malfunction if she were to wear a loose top or shorts of her own. For her, it would mean that the handful of clothes she decides to bring with her won’t be used and abused due to everyday use, instead she can use it during her days off. I think wearing a uniform is a good thing and is a win-win situation for both sides. Not only will our helpers be comfortable, they would also be more neat looking- don’t you think?
Speaking of neat, I’ve recently discovered a brand that sells online chic uniforms for our nannies.
Meet Neat Nanny.
Neat Nanny combines style, practicality and comfort to create the best uniforms for our nannies.
Each suits comes in different color combinations so there’s more than five options to choose from.
I really like the Maria Suit. I love the pop of colors as well as the simple cut of the shirt.
A few days ago, this came in the mail. A nanny kit was sent to us from Neat Nanny. I love how the kit includes the essentials my Yaya needs. Since she has long hair, she really puts her hair up and even braids it herself. This grooming kit is so useful to her!
Thank you Neat Nanny for sending the Fran suit for our Yaya H! 🙂
