Comfort food will always have a special place in my heart. It’s purpose is to mainly give a sense of wellbeing after one has ingested it. For me, I feel a lil’ bit happier just by smelling or seeing comfort food in front of me. Talk about fast comforting! Heehee. Good thing, my family and I have our own different favorite comfort food. I have to admit, having kids made our dinning choices and options limited as we know that not all restaurants are kid-friendly. When it comes to dining with our kids, we aren’t very experimental and would just go with our usual choices.
Nadine of Naci, a restaurant that offers a fusion of comfort food, invited my family and I to visit their restaurant and try their signature dishes and their kid’s menu.
Naci used to be in Greenhills along Connecticut Street. It was only early this year that they opened in Bonifacio Global City.
The interior exudes of a modern and easy vibe. The citrus-y color scheme of the place is refreshing to look at.
Naci also offers Live Accoustic Nights every Friday night. Enjoy good music while having comfort food with unlimited Mojitos for only 200+ php. Perfect to cap off the work week and welcome the weekend.
Naci is proud to introduce their menu in the form of an android tab.
With this, customers can easily browse the different dishes of Naci.
Dishes are posted with photos, description and price. It also indicates if the dish is good for sharing, for kids, as well as if it’s a chef recommended and healthy meal.
Mango Yakult Yogurt 150 php. My lil’ Ms. GJG enjoyed this drink and finished it even before we had dessert!
While this baby was all mine! Heaven on Earth is the name. For 250 php chocoholics will love this drink as much as I did! It’s not too sweet nor too creamy, perfect to indulge on a humid day.
We were able to try Naci’s kid-friendly meals. I gotta say, the inner kid in me was quite excited.
Spaghetti With Meatballs 340 php
Gabbie’s a big fan of pastas and noodles. Naci’s version of spaghetti with meatballs got two thumbs up for her. She liked that the sauce wasn’t too sweet (like what normally, kid spaghettis taste like) nor was it too sour.
Fish and Chips 285 php
What’s different about Naci’s Fish & Chips is that they use Mahi Mahi. It’s not your usual battered fish fillet as the Mahi Mahi gives it a textured feel and a hint of flavor.
Crispy Chicken Tenders 320 php. One of the no-fail dish that kids really love. Even my lil’ Mr. GJG loved munching on these.
Barbecue Slider 285 php. Burger + barbecue= awesome. It’s a finger food that’s hearty and filling.
Peruvian Chicken Rice 420 php. OMG. One of the best slow cooked baked rice that I’ve tried. It was flavorful and creamy! A dish itself that is good for sharing.
Don’t you love it when your kids eat healthy meals? ๐
For dessert we had their Mango Panna Cotta. I’m loving the Eco-friendly packaging. Conveniently perfect should you have it to-go or gift it to someone who loves sweets. Ahem. Ahem. ๐
We also got to try a sample of their homemade ice-cream. The flavors were (clockwise) Pistachio, Honey Dew, Caramel and Strawberry.
Love their bathroom reminder.
Thank you Nadine & Natasha for introducing us to Naci! ๐ Looking forward to trying your other dishes soon!
Apart from the dishes on their menu, Naci is also offering Cohen and Vegetarian friendly meals.
