I love my neighbourhood! It has slowly transformed into a food lover’s destination. Where different restaurants have sprouted, offering more food choices for San Juan peeps. Although I have to admit, I haven’t tried every restaurant there is in my area.
As Tin & I were dinning at Mu Noodle Bar in Glorietta, I remember wishing there was one that’s near our place. To my surprise, she said there is!
Lunch date with Tin at Mu Noodle Bar in Glorietta.
Mu Noodle Bar’s second branch is along Wilson St. in San Juan. For someone who lives within the area, I should’ve known that there’s one. It’s actually sort of hidden compared to the strip of restaurants along that street. So that weekend, Mr. GJG together with lil’ Ms. GJG & I tried Mu Noodle Bar in San Juan.
I love fried buns, so it’s a must that we try their Dong Bo Buns.
Dong Bo Buns, 240 php.
Crispy bun on the oustside, soft on the inside. Perfect to match the tender pork slices.
Egg Fried Rice, 160 php. Good for 2-3 persons.
3 Cup Chicken, 240 php.
Delicious and flavorful chicken. The right blend of sugar and soy sauce. I would recommend this dish not only for adults but also for kids.
XO Raddish Cake, 200 php.
I am not one who eats raddish cakes but I have to say, Mu Noodle Bar’s is a must try.
One of the best beef tendon noodles I’ve tried. Flavorful soup base and the beef tendon was tender enough, my darling daughter liked it!
What I also like about Mu Noodle Bar is how uncomplicated their menu is. Like each dish was carefully thought of, not overwhelming the customer with variety but rather with the quality of food.
Mu Noodle Bar in Wilson will definitely be one of our regular go-to restaurants. San Juan peeps, sarap living in our area no? More reasons to love San Juan! Heehee.
Mu Noodle Bar is located at 197 Wilson St. San Juan
Tel. no. (02) 451-2681
From Wilson St. cross the intersection where there’s Mini Stop on your left. It’s the quaint restaurant right after Share Tea on your right.
