We spent Mother’s Day weekend at Dusit Manila. It was just the staycation I need because I’ve been down with flu that week and all I really want is to spend time with the people that matter most.
I was planning to vlog about our stay but my laptop crashed while I was backing it up. Unfortunately only some videos were saved but nonetheless I was able to come up with a quick vlog which is posted on my YouTube. I’ll also embed it at the end of this post.
If you follow me on Instagram you’ve probably seen the post I made when I did a quick tour of our suite.
It was so spacious my kids even played hide and seek! (sayang I captured them doing so but the video was corrupted and couldn’t include it in the vlog huhuhu)
This was our room. Super love the bed and the dresser slash writing desk. It has a pop up mirror and an outlet perfect for getting ready.
The first thing my kids look at when it comes to our hotel room is the bathroom. Yes, they have a thing about nice bathrooms and this one is on top of their list!
Mother’s Day is always extra special because of these two.
After settling in our suite, Mr. JG & I went to Devarana Spa to have their signature massage. I gotta say despite my clogged nose, it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I was so relaxed and felt better afterwards!
Dinner soon followed at Benjarong Thai Restaurant. This is such an underrated restaurant and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for an authentic Thai restaurant to indulge in. Their Pad Thai and Tiger Prawn are just two of their signature dishes you must try. Check out their menu HERE.
All smiles minutes before we dig in on our yummy Thai food.
Our dinner OOTD twinning in navy blue. This little corner in our suite is my favorite aside from the bathtub heehee.
When we got back to our suite after our hearty dinner, the staff of Dusit Manila surprised my mom-in-law who is celebrating her birthday. Birthday song, banner and cake makes it even more special. Thank you for the treat Dusit Manila!
We had breakfast at the Club Lounge and then had some pool time before we had brunch. Kinda matchy again with my baby girl in our suits. It was a beautiful Sunday morning!
Love the selection of fresh seafood! It was a busy brunch because a lot celebrated Mother’s Day at The Pantry. They currently offer Brunch and Gogh which is a collaboration with Sip & Gogh, the country’s first and only paint and sip and studio. Dusit Manila incorporates the dine and sip concept to The Pantry’s Sunday Brunch. From 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM can enjoy farm-to-table dishes all while they do their painting session courtesy of Sip & Gogh.
I love that The Pantry has healthy selections even halal section as well as freshly pressed juices. They also have an extensive drink bar. Gin & tonic as well as mimosa and craft beer too! We weren’t able to experience it though because there was liquor ban during our stay. This is another reason to go back to The Pantry! ☺️
My first plate! Always a fan of fresh salmon and charcuterie!
I could’t resist having a few sweet treats even though I know I shouldn’t! Heehee.
The banana caramel gelato was so good! And the churros was something you should try too.
These two ate fast so they can paint right away. Their creations are posted on my vlog! Know more about Brunch & Gogh and how you can reserve below.
Thank you so much Dusit Manila for the lovely staycation. This momma always feel so special during this time of the year where I am celebrated along with other mommas around the world.
I’ll embed the video here once it’s done uploading. ☺️
